Beach House - Once Twice Melody (Full Album)

They really just don't have a single bad album, or even song, they're all bangers.

Next to asking what gravity, dark matter and the meaning of life is/are, human kinds' next most wanted to be answered question is how Beach House just keeps doing it. What is "it"?? "It" is making the best album I've ever heard, then making another one, another, then yet another one, etc., and none of them outdo or undo any of their own past releases acclaim and praise, but stand side by side as perfect masterpieces in their own rights, to be listened to at their own times, for your own personal listening reasons.

If never getting an answer to how they do it means they keep doing it, I hope we never receive that answer. Beach House, yet again, cements their existence in this life as one of the best things to just be here with us. Thank you BH

I'm a huge fan. I'm not sure if you can ever rate a beach house album. Personally, I let their albums speak to me over time and experiences. At this point, I would rate the group one of the greatest and most modern/inspiring sets of individuals destined to make great music in this day and time. To that, I say thank you.

Like the first light of twilight, this music opens your eyes to old promises and to all the anomalies of nature. Evocative of powers beyond observation, these pieces pull the strings of the heart, attract nostalgia and awaken regrets, flayed lives and the torpor of tormented watchers 🌺

I've listened to this album so many times since it came out last year. It immediately felt like classics I've been listening to forever. The Bells and Hurts to Love back to back in the last quarter always get me

THIS is such an incredibly sneaky great album that I have had a hard time selecting in front of their other albums to listen to. I went and saw their show here last tour as well. Loved it. But am just fully understanding the brilliance of this one lately. Thank you, Victoria, for your amazing body of work to enjoy. You are amazing.

Beach House was incredibly original. I never heard anything like them. While I love this album, I can’t help but feel that they have an “M83/ Switchblade Symphony” vibe to them now. I miss the atmospheric feeling of isolation. Turtle Island… Tokyo Witch. Those were amazing. It brought pure emotion. And it really felt like you were transported to another world.

For some reason Sunset reminds me of the movie Rules of Attraction and the depressing electronic soundtrack it had. There have been numerous Beach House songs that remind me of early 2000's indie movie soundtracks. They are absolutely brilliant

I absolutely love Beach House. I was lucky enough to see them perform live last year at the Life is Beautiful fest in Las Vegas. Their songs and sound are deep and multi-layered. Victoria’s ethereal, distant, and beautifully haunting voice reminds me of a modern Hope Sandoval. Mazzy Star was one of the first indie mainstream female vocalists with that sound (vocally speaking). A lot of the kids today don’t know that…and they should be educated.

Please do not be afraid. Beach House is not God. They are just showing you the way.

when it comes to bands that are always evolving and yet consistently puts out incredible albums, they are probably in the top 10 of the all time greats.

I saw Beach House in Sydney circa 2015 in a corner of an old sandstone art block, at a laneway festival. Small crowd, narrow space, sun lit afternoon, what a sound, what a band.

Two years later, and this is now my favourite Beach House album.

This band is so consistent it hurts.

Damn I heard first 4 to 5 tracks nothing impressive except ambient sound and soothing sounds. Needs to sound more pop.

Shadow (Sonic 3!) from the sun. Keanu Reeves I heard. Favorite melee character I've heard about, backlit up against a wall. Superstar!

They really did release their whole album for free. Big respect.

My pain hurts too much but this helps soothe me on this nightmare of a morning/afternoon. One of the most painful experiences, if not the most I’ve felt.

IF do exist perfection in this world, that's it! Angelical! Wonderful! Makes me fly away, so far, so good!
