To all idiots going "DURR WHY DID IT GET BETTER THAN KILLZONE AND DEAD RISING": It's a different genre and a different game completely. There is no reason comparing it. It's an awesome PINBALL SIM, so therefore a 9. it's not a 9 because it's an awesome FPS/ACTION GAME. 

Pinball Arcade is the best. The PS3 and Vita versions are plenty good, too.

when does it come out for ps4? 

why is everyone complaining? its like people think that a higher score than another game means that it is definitively better regardless of how similar they are, when really the score is given in context. for example a 9 for pinball and a 9 for an FPS are completely different things. "higher than any xbox one games" is the most retarded comment i've ever seen.

Video Pinball is really the only Western-born genre I adore and easily the best genre in PC gaming; my tastes skew heavily in favor of Japanese-born or improved genres such as platformers, RPGs, shmups, etc. I quite enjoy this game on my iPad 2.

If you download the PS3 and Vita version* of this game, (which has been out for over a year :) ) it comes with FOUR free tables, not just one :) .

I don't know is the footage here from the PC or PS4 version of the game, but i think the Vita version looks the best :) .

(*And possibly other versions, though i don't know for sure :) .)

I really wish there was a pinball arcade sim that was a widescreen tv laid down flat on a table with an optimum viewing angle, maybe use kinect to track the head so it knows where you're looking, with a second screen above that replicates the backboards of the tables. This way I could have thousands of tables as one table... 

Playing it with Oculus Rift might fix the viewing angle problem.

I own the Season one tables on the PS3 which play really well, but looking at this video the lighting on the new PS4 system is far far superior. Really brings the tables to life. Really going to have to upgrade at some point. These look awesome.

Really hope that room brightness feature comes to the PC.

I do not see there being much difference between the PS4 version and the PC version. Both versions are outstanding renditions of classic pinball tables of the past.I have Pinball Arcade on both of my Android phones and now have it for my laptop. The only other pinball sim that equals this is Pro Pinball - by Electronic Arts.

Waiting for 'Lord of the Rings' to come out on Pinball Arcade. That would be great.

Ps4 version looks the same to me as the pc version. Maybe is because I am color blind.

low res textures on ps4 is just unacceptable

This game will be a part of childhood to the PS4

The tables are beautiful, but ball movement looks absolutely horrible. I'll stick with Crystal Caliburn on my cell phone. 

I have all the tables. This is so worth every penny. Ignore the naysayers. You're going to have a blast.

Except for on the PS4, Pinball Arcades sound is horrible. If you like your games with decent sound, do not purchase this game until game update/patch comes out. I have spent too much money on PS3 version and PC, for the PS4 version to be unfinished.

This game is so good on Kindle Fire.  Got the first 19 tables for half price this week.  The look and physics are amazing.  Didnt realize the the room light could be lowered, can't wait to try it.  Medieval Madness is great but Attack from Mars is better.

Nice review of Pinball Arcade. The fun free digital pinball table convinced me to invest in the full game retail version of 20+ replica pinball tables without having to worry about buying the actual machines, let alone fitting them all into a home.

I have it for PS4 and my problem is that the flippers react too slowly compared to real pinball machines, which is the worst thing that can be wrong with pinball simulators :( But nonetheless, it's fun and due to this "bug" more challenging, so it's not necessarily a bad thing, although I hope they'll fix this anytime soon :D

I have this on ps3 and pc and got the ps4 version and a part from turning the lights off , the pc version is better  more detail better  reflections  like on bride of pin bot  if you look at the head the pc you can see the light bulbs  for the mouth and eyes where ps4 nothing  in fact ps4 looks pretty poor for next gen

Gah, I wish he would've shown us what the pinball tables look like with bright lighting... that's the setting I remember playing for my Williams Collection on Wii.
