"Saroumon"...
ОтветитьEvery day, SaruMAN'S forces look way more based than the Alliance.
ОтветитьSaroumom, mom of the Uruk-Hai 😂
ОтветитьIt doesnt come a cross-bow, get it... I'll see myself out
ОтветитьSaruman invented pike and shot combined arms!
ОтветитьDiet John green
ОтветитьSuch a cross bow would be rather weak compared to other cross bows, and probably wouldnt be a threat to men on top of the walls unless maybe the tip was poisoned and it hit an unprotected area, assuming it could go high enough to get men on the wall. I doubt it can get high enough.
ОтветитьThe orcs were actually very smart, having invented many weapons of war.
They stood for technological progress, which required the destruction of nature.
Sauromom. Truly a frightening combination: half dark Lord and half angry mother.
The Valar protect us all!
Sarumom
ОтветитьUh ok. So there’s magic and orcs, floating demons, a ring that makes you invisible…. But it’s the gunpowder and cross bows that this nerd ass is trying to bring meaning to 🤣
ОтветитьSaurman is a student of aule. He is capable of great technological feats and has proven such
ОтветитьWho the fuk is "SAROUMOM"??
ОтветитьThe best part of the two towers is that no Knife-Ear, save Legolas, survives.
ОтветитьTolkien made a point of telling the reader that orcs would come up with all kinds of clever contraptions and that they were good at making those kinds of things.
ОтветитьSaroumommy
ОтветитьEither those orcs are REALLY strong or that crossbow has a fuckin 3lb draw weight
ОтветитьThe butthole of helms deep bends people reality wewewe
ОтветитьThat's something for the film crew, not tech from the LotR universe 😅
ОтветитьImagine veing a 800 year old elf skilled beyond belief in all aspects of combat just to get lobotomized by a pig man that was just grown last week and given a busted ass crossbow compaired to the enchanted bow you have passed down from the last 6 generations 😂
ОтветитьI’m so glad you pointed this out! Even though many may miss the small details; for those who do see them are just more immersed in the story and film because of it. The attention to detail and love that went into this film is evident!
ОтветитьI want that crossbow
ОтветитьShadow of war games has these
ОтветитьSame type of crossbows in shadow of war and shadow of Mordor too haha
ОтветитьWeta workshop are unrivalled
ОтветитьJorge sprave was captured by the uruks?
ОтветитьSaroumon hahahahahahah my boy was converted into a Digital Monster
ОтветитьSoururmom?
ОтветитьWait so LOTR was on the brink of being fought with muskets?
ОтветитьSome good dakka
ОтветитьWho is saraumon?
Ответить“Advancements in crossbow technology” when in reality the prop master needed a way to reload the bow without then bending over
ОтветитьBlueprints please 🙏
ОтветитьWHO THE FUCK IS SAROUMOM?
ОтветитьWho doesn't love Sarumon?
ОтветитьSarouman...
ОтветитьThat design was invented by Leonardo da Vinci
ОтветитьWhere can I buy one? It's for a pinata I swear
ОтветитьI think there was a theory that if Saruman had a little more time before he was caught working with Sauron, he actually would have made a way stronger army that would destroy Rohan even with Eomer coming like it was in the movie.
ОтветитьI think the corsairs had crossbows in the movie too, they surely have ballistas on the deck of their ship.
ОтветитьOrcs are hella stronge too so. These bows can probably take out a human easily
ОтветитьGundam
ОтветитьYeah, finally someone saw that. And SaurON, not Sarumom. I am not a fan, but even i know it. 😂
ОтветитьThis addition to the film seems like a fun little journey of influence. In the books, it’s implied that it’s hurled and not fired with gunpowder, the gunpowder in the live action films comes from the usage of gunpowder in the animate 70’s movie by ralph bakshi, who was inspired to include guns for budgetary reasons, the same budget crunch he faced on his previous work, Wizards, when he couldn’t afford to animate action sequences so he rotoscoped actual footage of combat, which included firearms. I wish i knew where his LOTR war footage was from, but in wizards he rotoscoped nazis and turned them into demons, much like he took which ever soldier and turned them into urik hai. But peter jackson was famously a fan of the not so beloved animated adaptation and was inspire to include more gun like weapons to highlight, like bakshi, the advanced horrors of industrialization as was tolkien’s intention with the urik hai in the books
ОтветитьAncient China had repeating xbows... that's not as exciting as fantasy though. Get that YT money!!!! ❤
ОтветитьThe fact that the orcs basically used swiss tactics scares me
ОтветитьHow many years till you think they remake these movies?
ОтветитьThat's really neat. And it makes sense.
ОтветитьI figured they used crossbows because Saruman needed his army armed and ready to fight asap. Crossbows take much less training to use while bows and arrows take years, even decades to be able to fully utilize
ОтветитьNerd!!!!!!!
