It's great also having the sculling oar off center as it clears the mizzen easily and stows easily out of the way.
ОтветитьHave you ever tried propelling a boat by way of bycicle technology ?
(no not on the road, seen it)
Master! I
have always been impressed by your skill in rowing and guiding your boat with this system. Sven you are a great source of teaching and inspiration.
Greetings from Buenos Aires
Why is the oar blade not vertical, I don’t understand?
ОтветитьI think that for people that grew up using boats and playing in them since childhood, small boats with sails and oars make sense. For those who grew up in a house, getting shuttled from one building to another in large SUVs, it may make sense to have a large "comfortable" boat with a powerful engine.
ОтветитьYou do what you do! I enjoy it! ❤❤
ОтветитьI keep thinking about Legs.
Legs are the largest and most powerful muscle we have.
Why aren't there more propulsion methods that utilise the legs?
Have you done thinking into this?
It's nice to see it coming together great pictures from your childhood..
ОтветитьI can see this hanging oar system working in calm waters, but not sure as to how this will work entering into a port in rougher waters. I would somehow carry an extra oar some where in or on the boat, due to what rough seas may do to it. Maybe make a 3 part oar, tucked away in a compartment, that will fit together if ever needed. Just a thought. Great video again.
Ответитьlike a thrust bearing. got it
