LI was about to buy Sonos and now I am waiting to see how this goes....
ОтветитьI think having a knob and touchscreen on PowerAmp is a waste. Ubiquiti even shows them in racks.. Hope they can add other sources and Chromecast.
ОтветитьSonos has third party integration for control systems (could be better but works). Given Ubiquiti history on this i suspect they won't support it, my customers do not want yet another app!
Ответитьthis amp controls only one room right (just like sonos amp) ?
ОтветитьI’ll be replacing my Yamaha WXA-50 (used to power 2 back porch Klipsch speakers) with this. All goes well I’ll get a second for my in-ceiling kitchen speakers as a Zone 2.
Ответить$600 for a single zone WOW expensive
Ответитьwill it be took much to ask to get google home/alexa/homekit compat???
ОтветитьSpeakers are coming sonos is done !
Ответитьohhh.. the api. this maybe pretty useful for me soon.
ОтветитьDon't buy this stuff if you live in the UK. The returns process is done by sending stuff to the Netherlands. Your products get customs charges for returns! This stuff is garbage! I was offered instore credits to cover the customs charges! I will not be buying more items to send to the Netherlands! Very poor customer service
ОтветитьI'm concerned Ubiquiti is fast moving towards the commercial market and I fear the home market will be abandoned because compared to the others who offer cheap gear, they cannot compete
For example, you need Unifi Enterprise (at a cost) to do camera sharing (unless you want to give someone else admin access and then they can view all cameras in your site)
The home side of things seem to be increasingly overlooked
This is the most beautiful amplifier i ever seen in my life, i can’t put this in the rack, i will place this straight in the living room
ОтветитьAirPlay2 and Spotify… However as a “premium amp for HiFi” I would look for Tidal Connect and especially Roon support. At that point I would be interested. Wonder what the DAC chip is as it is not in the published spec on the web.
ОтветитьConsumer AMP, yes. No way this is even close to audiophile level. Consumer outputs ONLY.
ОтветитьFuck sonos
ОтветитьWAY over priced. aa 2 channel 130 amplifer...is a joke for $600
ОтветитьI would like more channels than 2 per amp. I don't want to configure/buy/manage more than one amp. maybe next year a 4 channel amp will be available. 130w per channel is nice but absolutely overkill for most people's needs. My wish list would be a four channel with 50w per channel for around the same price.
Also, it would be awesome to have an ip version of this for powered speakers with multiple outputs that can be individually muted/volume controlled. Powered speakers are becoming more popular, it's mostly all i install these days.
Ubiquiti have come such a long way... Well done Ubiquiti...
ОтветитьLooks like UI are trying to branch out into other things. In some ways this will be a good move, but I really wish they'd focus on doing what they do really well, rather than introducing things that are more fluff while still not having there SDWAN really up to the best it can be yet. Good on them for trying, but for me this just indicates UI are just wanting to get into as much as possible but not doing any of it to the best of their abilities. Basically I would like them to focus on their security and networking, get that absolutely spot on before moving to other things.
ОтветитьUntil they add the ability to play locally stored music libraries, then the PowerAmp is a hard no.
I'd like to think that they're also planning a non-amplified version, to properly rival the Sonos Port.
Hello. Do you know if this amp will support Tidal Connect? Or just Spotify? It look nice, but I think if some features will not be available, the Wiim Amp Pro will beat it in almost every situation. Thanks!
ОтветитьWhos replacing their Sonos devices?
