You should consider grabbing a micrometer (if you haven't already!). Calipers are not accurate enough to give you accurate results at that resolution. Very good calipers can be consistently precise, but they tend to not be accurate enough. Micrometers tend to give you both precision and accuracy (and are an overall far more limited use tool!). Great video excepting the low audio volume. Subbed and looking forward to watching your other vids!
ОтветитьWhen you wanna film your switches and train your Pokémon team at the same time
ОтветитьI've been using Durok switch films for about 2 years now...never tried anything other then these. I have heard from a lot of people that Deskeys are great, and really want to give em a go! being a little thicker and easier to work with then the durok's
Ответитьfilm recommendations for lavenders?
Ответитьsuper helpful video with real data/examples!! going to film my creams :)
ОтветитьWhich switch do you think has the least wobble without modding?? Ive heard box switches and zealios V2 are good, thoughts?
Ответитьcan you use these for gateron optical switches?
ОтветитьI really dont see the point tbh like sure it makes it a bit stiffer but the reduced tolerance isnt necessarily beneficial to the operation of the switch and once you put a cap on and start typing you will barely notice the difference anyway. you are better off spending your money on some acoustic foam for the case to dampen the blow of the keystrokes and reduce sound reflections from the inside of the case.
ОтветитьThis. THIS IS SCIENCE AT ITS FINEST.
ОтветитьLove the commitment to testing assumptions. Science!
ОтветитьDo i need to relube when adding films?
ОтветитьThanks for the video, really helped me to decide if i will buy films, and i will :) againt thank you!
ОтветитьHad to like for the Poke-Emerald surfing music. Thx for the throwback
ОтветитьI feel like I found a video of someone playing with robot nipples
Ответитьrandom thought. what if you use small amounts of blue tack instead switch films to eliminate switch wobble?
ОтветитьMy switches don't even sit tight on the plate
ОтветитьAduio is really quiet on this video btw.
ОтветитьDo we have a video on how to improve stem wobble.
Or a video on how to prevent spacebar topout rattle?
I love pokemon
ОтветитьReally informative! Cheers for the great vid!
ОтветитьGotta love how people act like Creams are tight fitting when I can easily open them with my bare hands.
ОтветитьWow, randomly came across this but what a great vid thanks!
Ответитьyou earned a subscriber just from the pokemon music.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU. This world of novelty keyboard crap is too fussy! — plenty of us just want the minimum info needed to figure out our preferences without throwing money at recommendations of others. 😄
Also, I’m inferring from this video that keycap wobble is probably going to vary with the age of the switch molds, regardless of the brand/product. So getting minimal wobble means buying for that spec or filming yourself—especially if you’re already opening the switches to lube or whatever.
lmao the tape. great shots tho
ОтветитьHi may I ask for the boba u4t, many said that we don’t need to film it as it’s tight. Is this really true? Please let me know if you have tried it thanks
Ответитьthank you so much this video really helps me to make my decision!
ОтветитьThe most unbiased review I've seen on keyboard stuff ever. That being said thank for the video, helped me clear up if I needed them or not. 👍
ОтветитьFking getting PTSD surfing in Pokémon lost without repel and getting raped by hoards of tentacools
ОтветитьPokemon background music
ОтветитьHow do you have so few subs? I love your content.
ОтветитьDidn't realise a switch can wobble like that
👁️👄👁️
This is by far the best video on filming I've come across, and in fact one of the best on switches period. Instant sub, super impressive stuff.
ОтветитьI bought a cheap keyboard with Outemu red switches and has no housing wobble at all!
ОтветитьIn think you’ve just changed the units on your vernier calipers? Use a ruler to check it. But there’s a button there to change the units between mm and inches. In the video, you have it in inches. Hope that helps, sorry if I’m saying things you already know!
ОтветитьI used medical tape for switch films, sooo hard to do buuuut way cheaper and you can put more on switches that are needs more.. I just takes alot, I mean A LOT of effort and time.
ОтветитьThanks for the vid! Saved me a lot of time trying to figure out if I needed to film my milky yellows or not.
ОтветитьFor a long time I don't really understand what is housing wobble, until I see this video! IMO film doesn't do much with stem wobble, but 100% do alot on housing wobble.
ОтветитьI use a Sony camera to film my switches. Sure they look okay when filmed with a smartphone, or not filmed at all, but filming them with a camera seems to give me the best result.
ОтветитьZelda song link? Pls
ОтветитьReal MVP vid, thanks man!
ОтветитьWhere is he? 2 years already
ОтветитьGreat video! For a long time I wanted to use a mechanical keyboard... cool factor, but ever since the using the original logitech cherries.. i was very disapointed of the wobble just putting my fingers on they keys. Then looking for reviews...a lot of reviewer conveiniently leave this out. I checked out the logitech G915 at a store a few years ago, and I like that type of "not wobble" but 💸💸💸. ff almost a decade.. I've given up on the search now.
IMO, The design of most of these have a fundimental flaw.. imo.. being square. they coull easily be metal rount housing. this make holes easier to have manufacturing/molding tolerances. square is hard to manufacture. the cheap housing screems of lazy engineering or that plastic is just too expensive.
You ask a lot of questions but give no real answers or opinions on anything so this helps no one decide.
