Asian girl raps about immigration struggles | "Go with the Flow" - Michelle Zhang

I am a Chinese-Canadian girl who has been working in the US for almost a decade. I wrote this song last year as a light-hearted way to reframe my #immigration frustrations (got inspired after watching #Hamilton). But in recent months, my work visa situation became more complicated.

The current administration has slashed and tightened work visa processes and it is impacting me and many others. I'm now stuck in a bind where I can work in America, but if I leave at all for any reason, I can't come back.

If you have the power to vote in this election, please use it! I still have hope that I can live in an America that embraces it's immigrant roots and values the contributions we bring.
