Virtua Fighter 5 Complete Character Overviews

With some many Virtua Fighter games from 1993-2025 I think the Japanese writers ever should be thinking about either doing the reboot or revive in the Virtua Fighter anime series from the 90 in the future. Because the storylines and characters from the anime version is very different from game as there are some comedy, action, adventure and little romance scenes between Akira and Pai Chan and the same goes for Sarah Bryant and Kage- Maru. It would be great if the Japanese writers ever decided to revive Virtua Fighter animated series from the 90s to continued were the story (sort of left off) just like Cardcaptors: Clear Cards and Kinnikuman sequel.

Vanessa was definitely my favourite from VF4. She was also the creators favourite character

I stopped play Tekken after i realized it's just a childish fan service game for weirdos. I played the VF5 demo and i was impressed how good it was to be a 20 years old game or maybe i was not impressed how a brand new game like T8 look a cheap recycled mugen simulator.
This game feels like a true martial arts fight without RA bullshits, heat bullshits, character hitting you with wind from the whole screen and stupid childish sense of humor.


I will wait for Virtua fighter 6 and in the meantime i will play VF5 REVO.

I've loved this series since tje very first one, debuted in arcades back in 1993, and have continued to be a fan. I'm hoping that they'll actually make &release V.F.6, instead of doing minor upgrades to V.F.5, like they've been doing. I'd like to see newer characters from other countries join the existing cast, and some martial arts styles that we haven't seen represented yet. Perhaps even a mode that allows you to use missing characters (Siva/Shiva-omitted from the original roster due to conflicts in Saudi Arabia at the time if i understand correctly)Perhaps even the lost prototype fighters, retooled into fully developed characters....Hopefully too a far more developed storyline...Something more about the Mysterioys-Syndicate that holds/sponsors the Tournaments(Judgement-6/J6)
that they compete in, especially more background on the "DURAL"-Project

I'm pretty sure Vanessa can switch stances before battle start too. Not only Jacky as said in this video. I wouldn't be suprised if any character can switch stances before round start.

I have a theory that a lot of Virtua Fighter's rep of being hard to get into comes from newcomers picking Akira expecting a simple beginner-friendly character only to find something extremely execution heavy and assume everyone else must be even more difficult by comparison

Akira used to seem like the kind of character who was so complex that I wouldn't "get" him, so I gravitated to more easy-to-use ones like Goh or Jean. But once I put the time into him, I realized how awesome and hilariously powerful he was. Plus, his hits sound SO HUGE when you connect, like you're demolishing a building with a Tetsuszanko. Can't wait for more VF!😆

Many Virtua fighter games prior to 5 and maybe 6 is always a more defensive oriented playstyle now i Wanna see a more defensive take on Virtua fighter 6 and maybe the last game on the judgement 6 saga
