SCAR 16's are awesome as well but Im selling my Scars and keeping my Bren 2's because they listen to its customers and give pistol versions, great triggers as well as non-reciprocating charging handles. I called fn and they have no plans to make these changes for civilian market. Bren 2 for the win regardless of price point! Now my question is is this weapon my go to over my mk18/M4A1 Colts? Misha what are your thoughts on this? Go to war worthy? Thanks for great video as always

Misha: specifically what model number is that optic on 11 inch.

Very interesting disassembly of the barrel. Reminds me superficially of how the barrel is removed from the Faxon ARAK21. I really like the improvements that CZ did with the bren series.

Would you choose your Bren 2 over your Bren 805? Over any other weapon if you could choose only 1 for everything?

Could you test the AR x39 mags in a 7.62x39 gun? I really hope they work and I don't have to buy the CZ mags when the carbine is released. I already have AR x39 mags on hand.

Are the rifles available now or only in sbr/ pistol configuration which I'm assuming is the s1 model stands for?

So if I buy the cz Bren 2 14inch barrel and I pin/weld a surefire break on it and install cz folding rifle stock to make it a legit 16” rifle. Do I need to worry about 922r compliance when I make the pistol to a rifle?

I love your thorough examinations of relevant military rifles and pistols. I'm a big fan of your channel and I'll be subscribing. I talked to Jeff from CZ today (9/26/2019) and he said the Bren 2S and Bren 2MS have multiple parts that are not interchangeable. I have purchased a Bren 2S in 7.62x39, with the 9" barrel for collectible purposes. Jeff stated for collectible and price increase (in later years) to go with the Bren 2S while they're still out because there aren't many as CZ currently has only the Bren 2MS. He also stated they are the exact military guns, minus the obvious full-auto lower, butt stock and pic rails at the 3, 6 & 9 O'clock positions.


I just figured I'd share some thoughts of the information at got from CZ.
If you could, when available, I'd love to see a thorough examination of the differences of the Bren 2S & Bren 2MS if you can acquire an Bren 2MS?

Hey Misha or anyone with knowledge of this gun. I'm curious if I purchase the CZ Bren 2 MS would i be able to swap out the rails for picatinny rails?

Hey Misha just bought a bren2. I took the barrel out and reinstalled it and my question is, as long as the bolts line up and the charging is locked forward is it good to go ? Also I torqued the barrel bolts to 8Nm from front to back ? Could you let me know the reassembly steps you did or do you have to put a go no go gauge in it to check? Please help ,Randy

will a bren 2 lower fit a scorpion evo upper. if a person wanted to turn their 5.56 into a 9mm

AWESOME Video! I just picked UP a BRen 2MS 14 inch 7.62x39 and I cannot wait to get the Handguard and other parts I ordered from HB Industries and the SB Tactical Brace to hold me over till the SBR paperwork that I will be filing comes back. I could not get the 11 inch barrel but I hope to be able to get the Barrel unit so I can have both a 11 and 14 since I have the 10.8 inch handguard on its way. Thanks to the GREAT Videos that you have done on the BRENs I Purchased ONE and the Shop I got mine also had a Bren 1 with the 11 inch barrel in FDE that was very cool and I am REALLY Considering going back to get it since I would like to have both the 7.62x39 and 5.56 and when a 7.62x51 is available I will probably get one of those too.

How the heck the charging handle work? It locking but non reciprocating

Do you think the way the barrel is attached to the receiver is a problem? It’s only four screws, and four washers torqued to 45 inch lbs. seems way less secure than an AR15 barrel assembly
