Professional mistake, lazy to retire from 10m rules, absolutely penalty. Pulling the player back was too late as they must move back soonest. They still bending while the ball nearly fall on their head.

Players get punished when they get it wrong referee don't at all where's the justification for there fuck ups theres plenty of footage to prove that lions are the biggest cheaters in the game back by the referee and world rugby and your bullshit penalties none for the referee get punished only coaching and players referee have got to be accountable for their decisions like players and coaches

In my opinion Siya should've been more vocal about that, could've asked the ref to check the replay!

Story of our lives. Biggest fear is when we go to the lions den and play in the north. The french refs will have a field day and even if they bring in dumb arse skips from Victoria or NSW, there'll be biased towards the North having lost SANZAR. Just you wait Henry Higgins just you wait

You can see Marx giving a step forward so on a technicality this try should be dissallowed, although if tries are gonna be dissallowed in this fashion Scotland's first try of this weekend should've been dissallowed, because after the crosskick, number 9 runs forward clearly offside and actually interacts with players involved in the try.

If you watch carefully the players I. Front of the kicker move forward which is against the law for this kick as their first movement must be backwards, they can’t even stand still. This was the correct decision and anyone who thinks otherwise is either pissed or a one eyed South African. As always the video (like most things) has focused on the story it wants to portray and not the facts. sA were definitely the better team for sure and deserved the win but why focus on something that was correct?

It’s funny that someone who’s entire video is about proving the ref wrong is still wrong. There are clearly players within 10 of the ball landing who were offside when it was kicked. Therefore they are offside whether they took 1 or 2 steps back or not. Please research properly before posting slander. And I hate Wales rugby but I hate unnecessary criticism of Officials more

This is an example of a ref inserting their way into the game. That was not a "reason" to disallow a try. Fucking travesty that in the TV official age of rugby you still get shit decisions like this.

Dont know why you are still even surprised by the Boks getting cheated out of tries by refs. Its like our government, they are definitely gonna be corrupt. The refs are definitely gonna do us in. Luckilly we still won. Try harder next time with shitty technicalities.

i wish all these people that say they refs got it wrong would go and ref a match! lets see how many would get things 100% right!
also lets look at the play, how many players were i front of the ball when it was kicked? 6 players NOT the 5 that were highlighted!!! the problem was the kick did not go more than 10 mitres.

As a neutral spectator, I believe that overall the match was even. Was a game of 16 on the field though…… Wales had the referee, South Africa had the guy from the stands 😂😂😂😂😂. If both of those tries (or in Wales case possibility of a try) had been given, I think the outcome would have still been very similar. What an entertaining match!!!

This is 100% a penalty to Wales. When the ball is kicked in this clip (35 secs) Malcolm Marx has one leg either side of the line at 44 secs he is a metre or two in FRONT of the line. He has not immediately retreated from his offside position as he has now advanced from his position above the line that he was straddling when the ball was kicked. Yes, it is pedantic but that is the law.

If you look closely you can see that Marks advances forward before moving back. That's why the try was disallowed. This video doesn't show that. This video was designed to create friction on our (the Boks) side to blame refs and make an even worse name for ourselves. Don't be fooled guys. OP (original post) is just an instigator.
Go check out Squidge Rugby for professional and well made rugby reviews.

Is there a law that’s says players are off side if the ball doesn’t travel 10 metres and players are in front of the kicker? I think they need to retire behind the kicker in that scenario but I could be wrong.
