This is 100% true, I remember when I was a rugby player and boxer if I didnt get "that feeling" (I called it that in my head lol) I would massively underperform. Ive never heard it mentioned by anyone else before

It is amazing how well Joe can describe an athlete's perspective. Guys not being able to excite themselves during a fight is a very real thing.
