Pixel 9 Camera Leak: What to Expect from Google’s New Smartphones!
Google is gearing up to unveil four new Pixel 9 smartphones on August 13, and we’ve just received a major leak detailing the camera specs for the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. According to Android Authority, the leak reveals both front-facing and rear camera updates, highlighting a significant camera overhaul across the board. While the primary sensor remains consistent with the Pixel 8 series, including the Pixel Fold, Sony and Samsung will again supply the sensors. The Pro models will boast a 50-megapixel IMX 858 sensor on both the front and back, replacing the old IMX 386 sensor used for ultra-wide shots with a higher-resolution upgrade. The Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL will feature a new telephoto sensor, while the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will keep the older sensor due to its slimmer design—2 mm thinner than its predecessor. Moreover, Google might finally introduce 8K video recording, as both the Tensor G3 chipset and Samsung GNK sensor are theoretically capable of this feature.
