OPM 202 Redraw Review: I Hated It

This chapter might become a redraw soon

But in all honesty, I like this chapter

It’s funny and despite me wanting to see the Empty Void fight. We all know how it originally ends. If it’s One’s choice to end it off screen to mimic the webcomic’s anticlimactic ending there’s frankly nothing we can do unless we as the OPM community become doucebags, hunt them both down, and threat them at gun point.

For me, this chapter made me excited for the Neo Heroes Arc. We could possibly see Blue in Murata’s art style which is always a treat. I’m just glad that Murata’s health didn’t went down the toilet. An artist’s physical and mental health are important. Although I was slightly disappointed that Murata didn’t continue the battle. This chapter could still work if this is a flashback of some sort.

But what I really wanted to talk about is “Blast being evil”. Maybe he isn’t PURE evil like you suggest more like the “actions justify the means” or how that quote goes. What he does and say MAY seem evil but given how the biggest threat to humanity is both metaphorically and LITERALLY a God Level threat. I would have done the same thing if it means to keep humanity safe and given how active God was even when sealed.

Either way, just glad Murata is okay

please please please please please give us Blast vs Void and have Saitama come in and just kill Void and end the arc so we can move on

Well hopefully chapter 203 will have the epic Blast vs Empty Void fight and maybe saitama will show up

This chapter was made pre-break. So after coming back from his holidays, Murata has been drawing just for the next chapter.

I kinda liked the Chapter, since it's a break from the action, the story felt dark for too long for this type of comedy-ish shonen. But, I will say it was placed in the wrong spot, it should've been after we saw metal bat and the robo-eyed executive go to the Neo heroes, not at the climax of the Ninja Arc. Also, Why the hate for Suiryu, he's cool.

Reality wins again 🙃

I think its because One Punch Man has been on the "monster associatio arc"hypr train for so long that once we landed, its straight to boring town.
