Thank you
ОтветитьAir Crete is supposed to be less expensive than actual concrete and you have just added thousands and thousands of dollars to it making it more expensive than anybody cares to pay they would rather buy a regular house! Good luck on your endeavors😊
ОтветитьYou don’t have to buy their foam generator and mixer. There are other ways to do it.
ОтветитьA few observations from my own experience building with aircrete. Drexel another commonly used foaming agent is also very sensitive to cold temperatures and foam collapse, I will not even do a pour unless its going to be above 50 degrees for at least 12 hour after the pour. Forms made of wood seem to to pull moisture out of the aircrete leaving about a half inch layer of softer more crumbly aircrete wherever it was in contact with the wood, If using wood forms it's best to line it with plastic or better yet take the time to build a quality re-useable mold from plastic or metal. In addition to running the foam generator off of its own electrical circuit, running your air compressor off a dedicated circuit is equally important in preventing current drop at your compressor leading to inconsistent air pressure. A larger diameter air hose and compressor mounted regulator that can be dialed in close to the correct pressure before the air reaches the regulator at the foam generator will also help maintain consistent air pressure. If you have the time to do so, leaving the blocks in the forms for 3 or 4 days or even a full week to more fully cure before removing them leads to far less breakage of blocks while handling.
ОтветитьCant wait to build a couple structures! Ill be starting a office dome this summer in Arkansas!
ОтветитьWhat are the benefits of aircrete over styrocrete?
