"‘My Land’ is an experimental parody piece inspired by different issues facing our social climate today. The main theme focuses on reclaiming what is yours, and defending it from any who may try to oppose you. The film originated by filming various short clips, and splicing them together during post-production, giving free rein to explore various avenues to weave a story together. The short was a lot of fun to film, and provided a great challenge for narrative storytelling." --Justin Gibbs, filmmaker
