The summary at the end is great! I was always confused about where brushless DC motor fits in, but it works similarly to the induction motor, just with magnets! Also, the reluctance and IPM motor is so interesting, I have been seeing them in use for EVs. Please can you explain the concept of saliency, that wasn't so clear to me?
