I saw a black & white version of Once Upon a Matress with Carol Burnett as the princess on CBS when I was a kid, then in color with Carol Burnett as the Queen as an adult, also on CBS. Such a GREAT PLAY!

This brought me so much joy. I'm recovering from oral surgery (read: all my teeth pulled out), and a nearly-but-not-quite broken collarbone, and I'm trying to kick anti-inflammatories for, like, 1 day (they cut me off the norco long ago), because I've been taking a lot over the past month. Long story short I had a really shitty day, and gave up around 2 in the morning and took some acetaminophen. It wasn't working fast enough so I made a stiff drink and queued up my stories... it all kicked in right on this video and it was just... delightful
