ОтветитьI never heard of this.
ОтветитьMost people don’t put vegetables, maybe a little bit of onion or celery but not enough that you’d ever notice them. It’s a very plain looking kind of dish, unassuming even, but it’s amazing, hot sauce is a must, you want your rice to be red from all the hot sauce, I’m a Texas Pete guy that’s what we use, but I’ve seen Louisiana as well. The best chicken bogs in my opinion tend to take on a little bit of a brownish hue instead of just straight up white, I’ve had chicken bogs that were straight white and they were still really good. It’s an awesome dish, feeds a ton of people, stores leftovers extremely well, it’s even better reheated days later, and it’s delicious.
