i have been playing with this paint for awhile, but was unaware that it needed ironing to fix the paint. that explains why they were fading. i won't make that mistake again. thanks for your video.
Ответить@dragpalacetv Hi - it sounds like you might have fabric dye. Often powder dyes require salt for intensifying color and helping the dye absorb into your fabric. The Pebeo Setacolor is a paint and does not require salt. If you are looking for more product information, check out our web page; dickblick . com / products / pebeo-setacolor/. Thanks
Ответитьcan you also use the opaque paint for the "sun print" method?
ОтветитьThis technique is specific to the Setacolor Transparent paint only.
ОтветитьHI
ОтветитьWhat kind of other light source can you use instead of the sun. During winter, its a bit hard to set things outside with the snow and all. Thanks!
ОтветитьThat's what I want to know...wonder can you just put it under a bunch of lamps.
ОтветитьYes - placing the painted fabric under a lamp will also work.
Ответитьhow long does it have to stay under the heat source or is 'till dry' adequate?
ОтветитьHow long do you leave it in the sun/or under lamps?
Ответить@Ceares- The piece needs to sit in the sun, or under a lamp, for 15 - 60 minutes for image to print. (Lift the corner of your stencil/object to check progress.)
Remove from the light source one the desired effect is reached and "set" by ironing for 2-3 minutes.
Love your works! Absolutely stunning! Just a small question, do we have to use specific paints like the light-sensitive ones to creat sth like this or it just works with every kind of fabric paints? Tks a bunch <3
Ответитьcan i use this paint reduced in an airbrush?
ОтветитьYIKES! This is wonderful....will definitely give it a try! Thank you....
ОтветитьCan we use these color on silk too
Ответитьnice
ОтветитьNice work.thanks.
