for the pillows!! they look cute, but we are both perfectionists and i think what might be pulling you away is the warm vs cool tones. your house is rich in cool greys and browns, the blanket is a more cool toned beigey taupe than the pillows are. the pillows are pulling warmer (more orangey) especially against the grey couch. again, they look cute! and you’re right, they work for now. i think they look cuter behind the striped ones. a burgundy pillow might help tie in the coffee table plant? or a cooler toned beige if you’re set on neutrals. it is YOUR home though. take all of this with a grain of salt, do what YOU want to do!!

Thanks for another encouraging video; praying for your allergies and answers to them to know what to avoid. Life is very precious; I am a 2x breast cancer survivor PTL!! Yes, organ donors are angels and selfless; I used to be one until I was diagnosed with cancer, so I am not sure if I can still be one or not, but it is needed and just an awesome way to show love for our fellow humans. So sorry for your loss of those friends and co-workers. Be grateful for health, and those times when you think you are at the end of your rope, remember, there is always someone who is going through a very tough time. I just love watching your videos; you have such wisdom ❤❤💕💕

I'm with you Jamie. I don't like a lot of color in my home, and prefer neutrals. In fact, orange is my least favorite color. I do love a darker brown to add depth and contrast. Perhaps you could try some plaid or gingham pillows in a darker brown with your tan pillows.

If your environmental test results come back and you’re not around anything on it that you react to, please consider lifting up your carpets and making sure they cleaned well before putting them down. New builds have SO MUCH sheetrock dust and although you may not have an issue having sheetrock walls, breathing that dust can really get to you. A lot of times when building houses they just clean the concrete “good enough” because the flooring will cover it. And if you end up allergic to mold, consider getting the seal of the door removed and make sure mold isn’t hiding or switching to a top load to avoid it. I know these sound extreme but as a daughter of a contractor and someone who has cleaned new build houses as a job, i’d go that extra mile.

I can't wait to try the soup it seems simple , my heart goes out to the families i know how difficult it is to have a family member go through some thing so serious I lost my dad it's almost 4 Year's now he had kidney failure he didn't want friends or family to donate for him he wanted to wait when his name was on the wait list but that ended up not happening I was taking care of him when he was sick and seeing him get really bad is still difficult to get over

First, I love the fact you are delving into decorating more! Second, i agree with the burgundy suggestions. The beige/tan and grey are both neutrals and compete with each other. Tie those beautiful leaves in with the same color pillow covers. Also, maybe get one of those large olive trees for the opposite side of the fireplace? Have fun and relax with decorating!

My granddaughter is a double heart recipient. Her first was at 5 years then she had a heart attack so they re-listed her for another heart at 12 years she did receive another. She is 17 and we Thank those families in our prayers every day. Organ donation is such a blessing 🥰. She is our heart and soul.

My mother donated her gorgeous blue eyes and two men benefited from her gift of eyesight 💔😢

I don’t usually comment albeit when you spoke on organ donation, I wanted to speak up. 12 years ago my 23 year old son passed in a motorcycle accident that we witnessed. We donated his organs. When I was asked about his eyes, I had to take time to make that decision. I did and am glad I did. I’ve since lost my vision in my right eye due to Lyme disease and appreciate how far medical technology has come. I’ve been a huge advocate of organ donation. Prayers for your tests to be successful! Thank you, Jamie, for the work you did for organ donation. My daughter was the recipient of a liver when she was 3 months old, the youngest lover recipient at the time. Unfortunately she didn’t live past 6 months old, but the ultimate gift and chance she was given will never be forgotten. I am forever grateful for the donor’s family and now my whole family are all donors.
