Ответитьwoot~! INTEL stuff!
ОтветитьLove this idea! Can't wait to see some testing
ОтветитьPlease also test with Tim.
Thanks man
Wow, I think this might make delidding my 6950x worthwhile if there's ever a 20xx version
ОтветитьInteresting concept. As a machinist though I have to say those toolpaths need some refinement ;-)
Also the top looks like brass, not copper.
awesome
ОтветитьInteresting idea. I'd be just as worried as you were seating that block for the first time!
Good review, by the way! And since you have such a nice voice for narration, you've got a SUBSCRIBER!
Neat idea. But the top is Brass not copper like the bottom.
ОтветитьTAKE MY MONEY!!! But seriously, how can I get my hands on one of these and when!! That's sone good stuff right here and a really nice review. Keep up ;)
ОтветитьThis is an exciting block!
Ответитьshut up and take my money!
ОтветитьI really hope they ditch the flathead screws for something like a nice allen head screw, as well as machine a much finer finish on the contact area. The sliding action caused by the retention bracket when locking it down makes me think of a cheese grater effect.
ОтветитьStill hard after all these years. I think it's an excellent worthy idea that many bold and adventurous types will buy. Build it. I know it's a proto type and I hope my suggestion can be taken into final build specification. I think a clear acrylic top will be better chemically for less corrosion effect.
Ответитьlooks promising, go on !
ОтветитьNice!! But I think everyone should not get too hyped up. Direct die cooling has been done and tested during ivy/haswell days and even during P3/Athlon times. I have also tried it before. Conclusion is similar to what others have mentioned. I do like the mounting mechanism and the relieve that acts like a protective shim. But dont quickly assume that direct die cooling is going to give you incredible temps or super high oc, eve with liquid pro/ultra thermal paste.
ОтветитьWhen and where can we buy it, I have some money that has this things name on it.
ОтветитьAre there any plans for a skylake-x version?
ОтветитьКлассная штуковина
Ответитьwaiting for test , soon review ?
ОтветитьAre you going to have a video reviewing performance of this thing any day now ? It`s april 1st now so it should pop up on kickstarter today, hopefully!
ОтветитьWith Intel using paste, this looks really damn awesome. I'd buy this in a second.
ОтветитьThis is GENIUS!
ОтветитьCAN i ADAPT THIS 1151 bracket to a 1155 bracket or will nuke fit in the bracket??
ОтветитьIm wonder if the brackets 1151 and 1155 are compatible? Dont the 1151 and 1155 are same holes ?
ОтветитьOMFG I WANT ONE SO BAD
ОтветитьWish someone would try this on a 6950x
ОтветитьWhoa that is brilliant
Ответитьwere is the follow up on this did you not test it???
ОтветитьWhat happened to the follow up video to this?
ОтветитьWish they supported AM4
ОтветитьHas anyone actually taken delivery of one of these blocks yet? These were meant to be sent out December 2018?
