Yeah Hard Pass, putting Aerith in a party with Cloud without Tifa there to watch over her creep ass is outright unethical. And using synergy attacks with cloud and Earth is out of the question. I don't like that I had to do her quests as it is.

question, are these builds easy to use during the actual story sequences (sometimes you are forced to use 1-2 chars)? or are they intended for the VR/exclusive HM fights?

I took some time away from the game because the grind for Platinum is real 😛 Anyway, I have a question for you... I was following your equipment guide, but IF you wanted to use Tifa AND Cloud with Aerith.. what would you suggest for their build? I've been using Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith since the days of the OG. I'd like to complete Rebirth hard mode with those three now that I've come back to the game. Much appreciated and love the guides! I can't wait for part 3 news to start!

Hiding "genji gloves" behing 8 minigames that majority of people cant be bothered mastering is a very poor decision.

You can only get 2 magnify materias. The one in chapter 1 you can’t keep.

Finally maxed out all materias. The best location is C12 looking for a cat side quest where you can get infinite supplies of wasps and tousands of ap per battle ;)

250 hours later I feel a few mistakes that cost me a lot of time but I got the platinum.

I just finished the game not too long ago, the minigames really slowed me down for progression. Just started hard mode and man it is rough lol.

The build seems strong for sure but playing as mage is the most boring part of this game... For the vr missiosn, I definitely think this build is the best idea.

There's 3 Magnify materias, but we can actually use only 2, since the 3rd is found in the Nibelheim flashback... How did you keep the 3rd one? :O

I grinded my ass off in this game and the first play through. I got almost all the way through hard mode, just grinding, grinding, grinding. Got all the trophies before I went to the temple. I was completely leveled up all around, then I beat the game in one go without dying, got the platinum trophy, and had the best closure you could possibly get in a game. Over 300 hours. Cheers!

How do you get the genji gloves?

Honestly hard mode isn't that bad but some of those challenges are just unfair. I paused my platinum on Rebirth because I got increasingly madder the more tries I had with Odin.

Odin is just my arch enemy, even Gilgamesh or Sephiroth are not as bad him (for me).

Brumal Form and ATB Ward totally carried me through my hard mode playthrough and platinum. Incredibly powerful.

Also for those who are getting started, don’t be like me and play through each chapter in order and reclear the side quests. Just wait until chapter 12, do ALL of the side quests then, and you won’t be stuck doing that stupid chicken chase quest a third time.

Just turned it on. Wondering if it will show dark side cloud , atb ward yuffie, and aerith lb recycle. Those tricks got me thru everything piece of cake - twice - I remote played a friends game to help him platinum after my own xdd it was fun to show off
