So beautiful and inspiring. Flight is similar to music, for me at least. It can speak to your soul. Thank you so much for creating this and sharing it with us! I know from experience how much time and effort video editing takes.

This was the first inspirational video I watched on YT when I was dreaming to become a pilot and today I'm here with CPL in my hand, thank you for the work you do which builds aviators.

I grew up with this clip , now I am about to take the atpl license and live the life I've dreamed.

Three years ago, I came across this video as I was starting my flight training. I have listen to it every day of training. I am almost through with my commercial rating now. Wow what an adventure! What an incredible video!

For most flying is a means of transportation or to get from one place to another quickly. But for me and for a lot of people watching this flight is a passion, an indescribable feeling of soaring through the clouds that most don’t seem to understand. I’m only a teenager but I’ve had the opportunity to have flown a plane before and have had the privilege of feeling that indescribable feeling. The passion and love for flying is something most won’t ever understand. The excitement and the thrill of taking off, the feeling of wind rushing through your veins and of being there in the sky where humans of old only dreamed of going. The feeling of being above the problems of the world and of doing something humans weren’t built to do. Being above the clouds looking at the horizon in the cockpit is something that I won’t ever forget and something I will continue to do even if it kills me. This passion and love is unmatched by any earthly thing.

J’ai découvert cette vidéo à sa sortie, jusque là j’étais attiré par l’aviation mais sans vraiment comprendre pourquoi et comment (personne dans ma famille n’était tournée aéronautique). Les années ont passé et tous les mois à intervalles réguliers je re-regardais cette vidéo, hypnotisé. J’ai finalement décidé par me lancer après presque 7 ans et me suis rendu, tout stressé et inquiet, dans un aéroclub. Première fois que je mettais les pieds dans un aéroclub et sur un aérodrome. J’ai été accueilli comme dans une famille et depuis j’ai progressivement gravi les échelons pour arriver aujd à 2 jours de mon test pratique ppl (après 2 ans et demi à jongler entre le boulot pour financer ma formation et les vols), j’ai découvert des valeurs,une bienveillance et un sentiment de liberté incroyable. Mes instructeurs ont été impressionnants de pédagogie, de patience et surtout de dévotion !
Avec le recul je me rends compte que jamais je n’aurais entamé ce long parcours sans cette vidéo. Alors merci, merci de m’avoir donné envie d’ouvrir les portes de ce merveilleux monde, merci de m’avoir permis de prendre mon envol et de me sentir libre seul là haut (et bientôt je l’espère à plusieurs car sans partage cela perd de son intérêt). Le chemin n’est pas encore terminé mais je le trouve déjà très beau et c’est grâce à toi 🙌🫶🏻

I thought I was the only one who imagined that the video gave that motivation when watching it, but it means the same for too many people here. I watched this video for the very first time when I was about 14 years old. I began studying to be a Cabin Crew. Nowadays, I'm flying in the second oldest airline in the world, Avianca… and now, I’m counting down the days to start my flight hours as a commercial pilot student. Dreams really come true, but they come with effort. Thank you @HighPressureAviationFilms for the motivation you gave to all of us.

I watched this video in high school before exams. tried to motivate myself for my dream of being an airline pilot. 10 years later, starting my job as an FO on the B737. Came back to watch this video... very humbling experience. It took many years of hard work, and a lot of sacrifice. Its an Absolute Blessing and I thank the Lord for giving me this opportunity.

Watched this when i was 15 and it flicked a switch in my head. now 25, hopefully going on to be a commercial pilot and went from working in a dead end job to being on my way to being a base maintenance avionics engineer. To anyone facing hard times in this dream, running into hurdles, jump them, climb them, crawl over them and eventually will reward you. You can do it guys.

Starting with my ppl in 1 month, everyone of us can do it, work hard for that well earned dream🫡

My 8yr old took the wings first at 4. He loves being in the sky "cutting clouds".As a mother it is amazing to see your child find his path so early in life. I do everything I can to support it. He's teaches me every single day.

In 20minutes I have a Pilot School interview. In some years maybe will like this from the sky.

Commenting here on 27/8/24 currently studying in class 11th. I remember when I was in class 2 my mathematics teacher asked me about my career and I replied immediately that I want to become a pilot, my teacher praised me and said pilot its great, I smiled. And when I will become a pilot I will come here again to praise myself.

I watched this about 100 times the night before my private pilot checkride over 11 years ago! It gave me the motivation I needed then!! Now, as a Captain at a major US airline, the nostalgia of this video really hits hard!! Still one of my favorites! Thanks again for this.
