I’m going to try to explain this so even someone like you can understand it.

You can not control an entire country and its people with tanks, jets, battleships, and drones or any of these things that you so stupidly believe trumps citizens ownership of firearms.

A fighter jet, tank, drone, battleship or whatever cannot stand on street corners and enforce “no assembly” edicts. A fighter jet cannot kick down your door at 3am and search your house for contraband. A battleship can not enforce a curfew. A tank cannot search a civilian for illegal weapons. People are needed for this. These big scary weapons you are so afraid of are meant to be used for destruction and cannot be used to enforce any rules needed to maintain power.

None of these things can maintain the needed police state to completely subjugate and enslave the people of a nation. Those weapons are for decimating, flattening, and glassing large areas and many people at once. They are used for fighting other state militaries, because we want to decimate, flatten, and glass our adversaries in war. The government does not want to kill all of its people and blow up its own infrastructure. These are the very things they need to be tyrannical assholes in the first place. If they decided to turn everything outside of Washington DC into glowing green glass they would then be the absolute rulers of a BIG, WORTHLESS, DESOLATE, radioactive pile of SHIT.

Police are needed to maintain a police state (its in the friggin name), you know BOOTS ON THE GROUND. No matter how many police you have on the ground they will always be vastly outnumbered by civilians. This is why in a police state it is vital that your police have automatic weapons while the people have nothing but their limp dicks, soy lattes, and pink pussy hats.

BUT when every random pedestrian could have a glock in their waist band and every random homeowner an AR-15/AK-47 (you know those big scary guns we’re told no one needs) all of that goes out the fucking window. Because now the police are outnumbered, outgunned, and face the harsh reality of bullets coming back at them.

If you want living examples of this just look at every insurgency that the US military has tried to destroy. They are all still kicking with nothing but AK-47s, pick-up trucks, and improvised explosive devices because these big scary military monsters you keep alluding to are all but fucking useless for dealing with them.

Unless you think the rest of the country won’t have a problem with wiping places like the state of Alabama off the map you really need to shut the fuck up about this “muh tanks will kill your AR-15” shit. Study history, learn what was done to every country prior to them murdering massive amounts of their citizenry. Here’s a hint: they took their guns.

The 2nd amendment....unequivocally does NOT say "private citizens right to bare arms." It specifically and solely says "MILITIA" and NOT "private citizens!" Reread the 2nd amendment and show me where it says "citizens shall have the right to bare arms." 🙄😒🤦‍♂️

1) Don't tell me there is already registration. 42 states don't have mandatory registration.
2) Registration does not automatically lead to confiscation. Yes it has, a few times. It has also NOT led to confiscation in over 100 countries.
3) Please listen to all the words I say in the clip, not just a sentence here and there. Responding to something out of context makes you look stupid.
4) Yes, I know guns are a right and cars are not. I say that in the clip.
5) If you think you are needed in case there is going to be some massive uprising where the American people fight a tyrannical government, a) most of the military will be siding with the government like it has every other time in history and b) you are most likely overestimating your individual importance in such a conflict. Also, the argument that individuals with guns have held us off in Viet Nam and Afghanistan does not matter, as the reason for that is because the government is unwilling to kill civilians en masse. In your distopian fantasy world, the government has already done that, so that point is moot.
6) I am not anti-gun. I do support the right to bear arms. I clearly say so in this clip. I am saying so again now.
7) If you respond to someone having a different opinion from you by threatening violence or other such animal behavior, you are making a terrible case for your right to own weapons.
8) "Criminals are just going to break the law!" is an argument for why we should have no laws at all. Unless you believe we should have no laws at all, stop making that argument.
9) I don't believe any of this will stop all gun violence. But even if it curbs it by 10%, that is totally worth it.
10) I'm tired of kids being shot at school. I hope you are, too.
