No leg grab judo is so sloppy

You can use your elbow against the leg if you have the sleeve grip, otherwise it's considered a leg grab.

I also had scores denied after var check when doing ko uchi maki komi and using my elbow to clamp the leg...😅

The rules allow the use of the elbow against the leg if the hand has a grip on the opponent gi, otherwise it's considered illegal leg grabbing. This is true regardless of doing it intentional or unintentional

However, please, don't get me started on the Kouchi Maki Komi silliness... Leg grab, my foot ! I swear... some trainer even gave me a small warning because I tried to squeeze the leg with my triceps ( not my hands ! ), but no, no, no ... what a crime I had commited !

Back to the topic at hand, those Ashi Gurumas were so satisfying to watch ! I'm definitely trying one of those this year.

Any idea why Guram was gesturing to the referee when Tasoev scored?
