I've got to say that for a bike that's been riden through 2 salty winters it looks pretty damn good. What screen did you install and how do you like it? I have the same bike and I love it.
ОтветитьHave great European adventure.
ОтветитьI have over 20,000kms on mine now , I also did a Utube review on mine a few months back I’m in Australia and have the 2021 100th anniversary model. I changed my tyres to the Dunlop Trailmax mission “ a fantastic long lasting tyre and grip ( like peg scrapping in corners no problem) and also great traction in wet . BUT the front has less tread depth from new Rear 11.5mn and front I think 8.5mm - they done this so both wear at same time . I’m going to put a TCK80 on the front next time and still have trail max mission on the back . I’m in the process of getting a rear shock made up from a suspension company in Australia ( IKON suspension ) as I feel when the bike is loaded up rear shock to soft . I used SM- Motech pegs on 2 previous bikes and agree they are fantastic. What map did you get ? Factory or something else ? I haven’t done the D- Cat Y- pipe yet , I fitted the Mistral V- boast and the Velocity stack” both a massive difference to smoothness and some power increase.I had one problem it was the sonic wheel , which also required resetting the valves as well . But that’s been my only issue. I love your attitude about keeping the bike “ I’m the same mate “, I have have a Ducati, Aprilla and a “ Italian made Benelli 1130 Trek “ all had their issues but I do love Italian style
ОтветитьGreat review, bike still looking good. I have almost 9 thousand miles on mine, and standard tyres still plenty of life in them. Bike holds up well for riding in all types of weather. I usually just hose her down, and blow dry. It would break my heart to sell the guzzi, so like yourself, im holding on to mine, looking forward to watching your Europe trip, keep her lit.
Ответитьenjoy your trip, looking forward to new videos
ОтветитьYou got her looking lovely, she's just like mine. I've done many add on's to suit my needs for the type of riding I do. The only thing I want to do next is fit more aggressive tyres, they tend to not pickup punctures as often as conventional treads.
Look forward to your trip blogs. Safe riding. Enjoy👍
Are you heading on your own or with friends? Thks😊
Ответить29000 on mine rides better than when new , only issue is 3 punctures in 3 yrs , either bad luck or anakee adventure are too good at hoovering up screws and nails
ОтветитьHey Bucky - nice review update!
Here's to a great euro trip !! I recommend visiting the factory, it has a great museum, but mostly I recommended it for the local riding area, stunning!
I've just got my bike back, following a rear end crash on my way to the French MotoGP, came back to me as a Cat N write off, just battle scares really, no great harm to the bike or myself, just a couple of cracked ribs - safe riding 👊
Sat on the newest model at the ABR festival this morning, changed the tubular back frame to a cast aluminium thing that looks crap, the front headlight/fairing adjustable section has changes also to a cast thing.
The handle bar switches are new and very un pretty, I like the previous ones are weird but work well. Changed the oil pressure sensor on mine also (main dealer All Bikes Rochdale, great mechanic)
Have a great trip ✌
Thanks for the review. The Ermax screen fits to it as it was an original one ;) Im gonna switch to it from my current combination which is "short ori plus additonal deflector" . Hope it will bring some improvement
ОтветитьCame to check out the bike, will stay for the Euro trip videos narrated in my favorite accent 😀
ОтветитьI had a similar intermittent starting problem last year (albeit on a Triumph) that turned out to be a starter solenoid on its way out.. Ten quid fix and easy to swap out.
ОтветитьA well done and detailed video. Enjoyed. I test rode this bike and it was a nice experience. Guzzis are always a great surprise, quite different from other bikes. Cheers bro.
ОтветитьRemember if you are having trouble with the cruise control after putting on the OME heated grips you have to calibrate the new grips. I learnt from experience, the cruise control kept on cancelling until I got them calibrated. 👍😎
ОтветитьGreat review, many thanks... One question- how did you mount your Carpuride screen there? I am waiting for mine, but still have no mounting solution... Thanks in advance...
ОтветитьNicely done 👍 Would you have a link for the barkbuster?
ОтветитьGlad to see you got the issue sorted Darren. Look forward to following your travels in Europe. Have a safe trip, subscribed.
ОтветитьHow did you figure out it was the throttle...or did you just luck out with the new grips?
ОтветитьNice vlog. Bike I'm looking for also just not sure on colour as like them all. Maybe get a winter hack to save the Guzzi for fine weather rider! I have an old CBF1000 for my general alround hack
ОтветитьStill holding up well and unique in its fit for its purpose, no real competitors. Would love to ry the new one with variable timing, makes sense, hopefully as reliable as the rest of the bike.
ОтветитьLocks are to keep honest people honest.
ОтветитьNice ride. Current bike is an Indian FTR Sport but would like to add a Guzzi eventually
ОтветитьOwn a v85tt 2021 Centenario . I thought due to it's simplicity that here would be no issues . How wrong was i. Ongoing and still have an issue of surging on rpm on idle that guzzi refused acknowledge or to fix , which i believe is a crank position sensor gap that needs to be changed with the stator for the generator Then the issue with signals not working somehow water got into the circuit and fried it needed to be replaced . End bolts on my handle bar holding the crash guard decided to fall out after the first month . My most recent issue is a total wire harness change out on a 3 year old bike covered the part not labour out of warranty 1 month . Finally my center stand bolt decided to let go and nearly killed me when i was making a turn by rubbing on my tire . Blame the tech who installed it without loctite . Do i like the bike yes do i think italians know how to put a bike together no, would i buy anothe, sadly absolutely not . I have payments so i have no choice but to continue to make the best out of it but hopefully i can one day be smart enough and buy a Yamaha .
ОтветитьHi mate how was the charcoal filter removal? Any grief? Good weight saving? Cheers
ОтветитьHello! Did you remap the ECU after doing the decat and does it feel more manoeuvrable without catalizator? Thank you for posting!
ОтветитьI like your black V85TT bike, it's very clean. I have the same bike but in red and white. Two years today I go my bike new, and had a few issues starting, but not always from cold, it struggles to start and sometimes when it does start its idle speed struggles to go above 1000/1500 rpm. My local Guzzi dealer don't know what it could be, even though they has been a Guzzi dealer for probably 20 years.
Its only happened around 4/5 times over the 2 years of owning the bike, but because of that, I have thought about selling the bike and going to another brand, but I do love the bike, its shaft drive, easy to maintain/service, tubeless tyres, auto cruise, comfy, and different from any other bike on the road, which I like.
I have also been to Europe last year and no problems at all, and have fitted the carpuride 7" which is great, but doesn't do voice activation.
Thanks for the great video, great bike, and safe riding, cheers.
Loving the tires 💪🏽
Ответитьhi did you take your bike to the mechanic
specialist in Italian bikes and was there a solution and which one?
My next bike for sure!
