To build a boat in a bottle you make the hull of the boat first then you make the masks and the rigging and the sail outside of the bottle with any details you want to include. The Masks are made to fold down. The sails and the Riggins are made to fold into the masts. While everything is into a small package it can be inserted into the bottle. Putty is used to look like water and hold the ship in place. There are strings attached to the masts which are used to raise them to the upright position. Long thin rods are used to make adjustments and move everything into the right place. When all is in place the strings that were used to raise the masks are cut
ОтветитьIf it could have new rafters and a roof, given time, the interior could be salvaged. What a shame. Thank you for making this record. For giving this grand old place a recognition beyond its life.
I wonder if was more recently used for photo shoots by clothing companies or magazines? The clothes rack in the hall off the main hallway seemed very cheap, modern and out of place. Like it was a left behind by a film crew?
you could actually use a drone to go to places you cant walk..
ОтветитьOn the second floor, what you called embroidery is really needlepoint. Great show!
ОтветитьWhy can someone not go in and retrieve what is salvageable?
ОтветитьWow this might be my favorite video of your explorations in Italy ever, amazing place! Thank you for another fantastic video!
ОтветитьAll I can say is wow this mansion is amazing and beautiful. I love the art details. Such a shame it is collapsing. Thank you for documenting and sharing with us.
ОтветитьBeatifull History thank you.❤
ОтветитьOMG WHAT A BEAUTIFUL GRAND PALACE! OUTSTANDING VIDEO AS ALWAYS! 👍👍🤘❤️
ОтветитьThank you ❣️
ОтветитьI find it so very sad that back in the day the people that left these places didn't place enough value on these beautiful homes to make an effort to save them! They don't build them like this any more, there aren't even people that know these crafts any more. Heartbreaking
ОтветитьAnother great episode. Unbelievable beauty, and intriguing story.
One thing I'd like to ask of you Les, could you please, please, stop wearing black everything for ever video. I enjoyed when you would vary your wardrobe with jeans and shorts. All black makes you look just worn out. Love you and Danny tho, great work you both do.
Thanks!
ОтветитьI don't know if you guys have EVER been in a Palace in that much DISREPAIR!!!! WOW!!!! The Ceilings and Roof Collapsing. It's really scary, and DANGEROUS, I'm sure!!!!
ОтветитьSeems like part of the castle could be saved. Especially the red room.
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful house. You guys did a wonderful job presenting it.
ОтветитьYou guys did it again you are the best ❤️
ОтветитьThis one was heart braking. This is when I just want you to relocate all the salvageable stuff.
ОтветитьThese people must have been so very rich. Its hard to imagine their life style
Ответитьhello I'm always watching your video ❤ I'm from Philippines ❤❤❤
ОтветитьAbsolutely beautiful & so hard to understand why the children would not try to save whatever they could. Thank u both for the wonderful tour, love u both from Texas.
ОтветитьThe ceilings didn’t have enough support at all. They were very thin. No wonder it went down so far.
ОтветитьIndonesia here😊😊😊😊
ОтветитьThis place must of been gorgeous in the day. Judging by the way it is now ❤❤❤❤❤.
ОтветитьTelescope
ОтветитьHermoso.palacio.creo.que.en.su.tiempo.fue.hermoso❤
ОтветитьI absolutely love your channel. Keep up the great work! Thanks so much for sharing 🙏🏼❤️
Ответитьno puedo entender como se abandona tanto arte, gracias por mostrarnos estas maravillas antes que desaparezcan difinitivamente.
ОтветитьI can't get through this with all the obnoxious advertisements. And I can't imagine why the people who lived there would abandon such a beautiful place and just let it fall to pieces.
ОтветитьThese places are now relics of a long bygone era that no longer exists anymore because the generation that once built and inhabited them are long dead not to mention Aristocracy and Nobility no longer have any relevance in a Capitalist society.
ОтветитьThere's probably about 5 pounds of gold that's gilded all the furniture
ОтветитьYou guys ready need to ware mass
ОтветитьThat gilded mirror is worth a lot of money. It should be in a museum.
ОтветитьThis is a world tragedy and never should happen. So very sad. The labor the materials we are losing, the beauty is irraplaceable. Different values or none at all? Wake up or loose you history! So very sad. Lol 😊😻
Ответитьwe had cork in our beer and pop bottle covers in 50's 60,70.s ,thank you for another great video
ОтветитьI adore you both & with the kindest intention, please, please stop pointing any gun at your friend & pulling the trigger... Old guns can still have a round of some kind still lodged in them. Even if it's a "toy"gun, you will "do what you practice" please don't do that anymore. With love 💜
ОтветитьWow, another great documentary on this estate!!! the frescos alone are worth salvaging this place!!!! another great job by both of you guys again!!!
ОтветитьOlá ! Cadê a tradução p/ o português?😭
ОтветитьOther great video
ОтветитьNádherné, ale i velmi smutné, že to chátrá ❤
ОтветитьLoveble and ceiling paintings etc, wondeful . Like this. Thank you this good video and memory life. Byee🙌🕊️〰️
ОтветитьIn the room that looks like a doctors office there seems to be a print of artist Gustav Klimpt's Tree of life. The painting is a study for a series of three mosaics created by Klimt for a 1905-1911 commissioned work at the Stoclet Palace in Brussels, Belgium.
ОтветитьI must have hit the pause button 300+ times,,,,, Amazing place,,
ОтветитьAmazing art! So sad to see it will soon all be rubble.
ОтветитьThe silver "projector" thing, I think could be a vintage facial tanner
ОтветитьI think the beautiful room with the red benches along the perimeter and the piano, is a room for dancing. Women with large dresses could sit on the red benches while they were not dancing.
Ответитьlol I like the gold room idea! 😂❤
ОтветитьWow 😮 so freaking awesome 😎👍
Ответитьto get the ship in the bottle you have to flatten the sails down and slot it in the bottle top front first
ОтветитьThe red room was definitely a ball for dancing, parties etc. The mirror with the face and the lion is a Sphinx and I can't believe how much color still left in the murals on the ceiling. It's unbelievable and beautiful. Thank you so much for the explorations
