I noticed you have to follow the order of adjustment according to Salomon. Turn your din all the way down afd down then start over.
ОтветитьThanks man, I wos looking for that information.
ОтветитьThanks so much that’s exactly what I was looking for!!
ОтветитьThanks a lot! How did you set the front plate? All the way touching the base of the boot or did you leave some room between? Thanks!
ОтветитьThe Shift is Multi Norm Compatible/ MNC for ISO 5255, ISO 9523 Touring or Grip Walk soles. The Anti Friction Pad / AFF adjusts so the AFD pad just touches the boot sole. Clearance is .5 mm. You can use a piece of paper folded over to make a feeler gauge. Be sure to pull up on the boot toe so it is in contact with the top of the binding toe wings. Mounting and adjustment instructions are provided in the binding box. Instructions have pictures for forward pressure and toe height adjustment. Always double check forward pressure and toe height by release and re- entry.
ОтветитьHuge help thank you!!!
ОтветитьThanks a ton! Super intuitive, once you know!
ОтветитьThanks a lot nice video I have a question about these bindings, I have two boots one with pin holes and one without they have different boot sole length. Is it possible to adjust the heel piece using simple screw drivers to match the sole length? Or I have to remove the heel piece entirely from the skies and then re mount them to Mach my other boot ? Thank you
ОтветитьThanks! Just picked up some, super helpful!
ОтветитьThank you! Was looking for this info!!
ОтветитьI just bought 20/21 version of the Shift and everything adjustment related was properly described in the papers coming with the bindings.
ОтветитьThis was helpful, thanks - I picked up the shifts a year ago, and heard/felt a clicking sound my first night out, whenever I initiated turns/put downward force on the binding/ski. I wasn't told how to adjust the bindings from the dealer who mounted them here in Vancouver, so I brought them back to the shop, and the did they adjustment for me, raising the toe piece. Love the bindings for light day tours, and they're perfect alpine bindings for resort laps, but you're right - not a lot out there to help with micro-adjustments and fine-tuning the bindings.
ОтветитьGood info, man. Thanks!
ОтветитьThank youuuu! Exactly the info that I am missing in all other sources!
ОтветитьDude! Thanks -- just the two pieces of info I was looking for.
ОтветитьThank you for making this video. I have my shift set up correctly, but it’s nice to get a second opinion.
