Thank you Barcelona for hosting possibly the best America’s Cup ever. Nice to see Gaudis familia Segrata near completion. A monumental investment taking many generations to complete. It seems a great connection that a New Zealand stonemason has assisted in managing the finishing section.
To win the AC it takes a team effort, built on teams before. So it was great to see one of the boys on the last race don the “Red Socks”, in remembrance of Sir Peter Blake.

love that New Zealand won - yet at the end of the day it is billionaires entertaining themselves while burning tons of money which wouldn/t be a big deal - if the world did not have any problems. For people who live in real world this is outrageous. Just think for a moment - all those people percieve it as the real and important thing to do. Poor Ben - he did not get the trophy - the world has collapsed - but he will try next time, of course... Well - you might say - that I am just jealous - but guess what - I myself have seriously participated in sailing competitions - when decades younger. Today I also think about those years as a big, big waste - not only financially. But.. whom am I moralizing to?..

You mean Team Dalton!! they don't deserve the title with NZ in it!! they may have won a boat race but they haven't healed the hearts of many KIWIS. Keep the cup in Barcelona!! where they won it!!
