I just got this game for pretty cheap. Haven't tried the solo Career or anything, just a bit of split screen, or SHARED screen I guess. I'm enjoying it quite a lot, but I haven't played a wrestling game in well over a decade, so I can't attest to how it stacks up against other recent games. But for me just stumbling upon it on sale I'm having a great time just messing around with people on the couch.

Games are meant to entertain and bring joy to customers, but in WWE 2K24 Showcase mode, it often ends up frustrating players instead.

Im not into wrestling as it is these modern days, but this ad was pretty cool. Made me wonder what a first person wrestling game would look like- sort of like that first clip with hulk hogan. It was cool seeing him pose from the POV of someone headed to the ring. It made everything see so much larger than life.

This game is awful, the counter window is too distracting trying to get the timing and to small of a window for late or early, personally it's hard to counter AI especially in events.
Secondly unfair events that can cost you credits if you don't own a superstar to gain a wrestler.
The example in question having you to require a 67 rate player if unowned buy him to pit against an amethyst 87 player and have you do a money in a bank which again is a joke and gain 90 challenge points.
This ain't right tbh and unfair, games are getting less fun by the day.
This card system is awful this ain't FIFA and the whole system is horrible why change things like configs, instead of leaving things how they were the old school wrestling was more fun still competitive but far better to enjoy.
You have to have a high attention span and quick digits to counter and do so of the in-game content.
