Dave Lowry used to live in a neighborhood near mine in Chesterfield, Mo in the early 90s. Garth Butcher lived in the same neighborhood. When we were like 11 years old, we actually went to their house and rang their doorbell to see if they'd sign sticks and jerseys for us - which they did, and was awesome. Lowry, you could tell was agitated/preoccupied by something and he asks us if we've seen a teenager speeding dangerously through the neighborhood, but we hadn't. On our way to Butcher's house, we then see Lowry in a red sports car and he was chasing after someone, lol. I remember thinking "he lives like he plays" lol
