Where's the 4K benchmarks using overclocked GPUs? This isn't the performance you'll get. You'll get more than this.

notice all the ubisoft game were most laggy, is why I hate ubisoft. its the way they make there games isn't efficient, or purposely inefficient, to show that, "oohh look u need the most advanced gpus to run our games"

4k at lower settings looks better than 1080p at ultra

These random frametime drops are what I hate about AMD. Nvidia get's them too but not nearly as frequently. I'm going to test a 980ti next week.

when you guys do these comparisons how come you don't use th 295x2.  If you are going to use nvidia's best guard available you should compare it to the best card AMD makes.   It would help me make my decision.  I wouldn't expect the 290x to compete with a 980ti but what about the 295x2?  It's in the same price point as the 980ti.  How come it is always left out?

I use a 290 and seen bugger all different from a 980.

Would you please to this test and post it.. I think the skyrim mod community would respect this type of benchmark.

U need skyrim, ENB, real visions, skyrim hd packs, climates of Tamrial

Is this done with the latest driver updates and at the highest settings? Also, does having an X99 setup make the performance any better at 4K? Would a 4K faster response time monitor be better for frame sake? Or is it just going to be based on IPS vs TN panel towards get anything that refresh higher than 60Hz and has 4K capabilities. I need something that is 4K capable in graphics card and a monitor that has a great response time, 100% RGB color accuracy, IPS, 30 inches or 32, at 4096 x 2160; how much ram is being used out of the 6 GB that is available on this one GPU card definitely if you are using a high resolution screen?

I was thinking about getting a Eizo Color Edge GC318-4K 31.1" Backlit LED IPS monitor. Should I get 980ti with 6gb or a R9 390X 8GB to push this type of monitor with some minor gaming but mostly content creation, stock market analysis, architectural/ engineering cad, and music production software (music software is not really for this need but that is just something I use my PC for), and photo editing.

So dont really understand why people say the gtx 980 ti is for 4k gaming. When it carnt even run its games in 60fps. Yet at 1080p you can run if not all games on higest settings and get a solid 60fps for the smoothest gameplay which for me is 1 of the main thing for gaming. And also will last you sometime and prepair you for theses awsome upcoming games like fallout 4. If the 12gb titan x was well optimized like the 6gb gtx 980ti i bet the titan x would smash most games in 4k and a solid 60fps shame thay fucked up.

Titan X and 980ti on 1000mhz ? can you make 1000mhz vs 1000mhz ? Because you can OC Titan X to 1400mhz and even 1500mhz and 980ti run most 1300mhz.
So if the 980ti has 1300mhz and the Titan X only 1050mhz that means that Titan X ich MUCH MUCH faster... you can overclock Titan X with NO PROBLEMS to 1300mhz.

I have 4790K and Gigabyte GTX 980 ti factory defaults and registering 60 average fps on witcher 3 on ultra with hairworks. How is that big difference?? Also using a Samsung M2 SSD on a 4x PCIx (in case that helps)

unity should be shown on all benchmarks. unity is so shit no graphic cards that are the best in the world can go over 30fps.

interesting to see that a 290x can keep up with a 980. lesson to learn here is sped half as much and get a 290x.

So you will only need like 3 of these cards in crossfire/sli to run 4K optimal.

i really don't get why you are still using filters like anti aliasing at 4k resolution, just turn them of already, i can understand at 1080p, but dude, this is literally 4 times the amount of pixels, it's impossible for you to notice any difference with anti aliasing on and off

i like 3440x1440 ultra wide at 60fps to 100fps and higher over 4k.
