Samburu night guards

After the recent killings of 32 people in Kanampiu area of Laikipia District, desperate residents are now using all tricks in the book to keep potential raiders at bay. Residents of Olmorok village, for example, have now resorted to keeping all their animals in the same shed at night, with the men keeping vigil all night, while the women and children spend the night kilometers away from their husbands together with their goats. The residents have vowed not to give up their life long tradition of rearing the animals saying that any other investment was equally risky.
