There was a band called abandon all ships that we used to go and see when they came to town and there merch guys nickname was Bikerack.
ОтветитьYep the first few days of me being called Gizmo was super weird lol
ОтветитьDid you come on the international WOTE tour in 2015? I saw the show at Train in Aarhus, Denmark. You description confirmed - swapping and all.
ОтветитьSomeone booked Smash Mouth for January in Canada
ОтветитьThat crew and band sounds like being in nirvana on a tour 😊 just like how we see everyone on Electric Callboy tour, y'all are in heaven 😊
Lmao 🤣 cuz I ran people over all the time 😂 driven and focused, oops sorry I ran you over 😮😅
And now you're TankieBoy <3 XD
ОтветитьWe all know it's just you that calls yourself Tank and everyone you work with calls you Running Man.
ОтветитьIs the picture of hasselhoff your “make sure they read the rider” check? Lol
ОтветитьGuinness and Jameson…you Irish?
ОтветитьGuinness and Jameson!! My Man!!
ОтветитьOur crew consisted of dickyjoebobblowfish, grandpa, dr rew, skellitor, sqint, blobbo and pond scum. Never a more devoted bunch of coworkers!
ОтветитьWhen you look at Canada you’ll realize them criticizing anyone else is probably bc they have a ton of suppressed rage and it’s illegal to upset their government officials/supporters
ОтветитьDude, I played drums for some little country bands. They called me Sturgil Pimpson lol😂
ОтветитьAlso australia and cockney rhyming slang for americans is septic tank as in yank so it works on another layer
ОтветитьFunny shit. Sounds like a blast..
ОтветитьLove WOTE. They were my kids first live show ever.
ОтветитьBro at this point i'm just an echo, but love the story videos man. Keep them up!
ОтветитьIs there an Ontario accent?
ОтветитьNo need to feel apologetic about something not being a wild story! 15-20 years ago, people liked to read or hear stories of trashed hotel rooms and snorting coke off somebody's bottom, or whatever it might have been.
In an era of so much fakery, I think we just want people to be real and honest. That's not to say there's anything wrong with a crazy partying story if it's true, but you also don't need to be nervous if something isnt as crazy as you think we want to hear.
I'm loving these storytimes - I thought I probably would. You're a very good storyteller, because you give a lot of context and really bring us along with you.
Omg I loved Walk off the earth
ОтветитьWalk Off the Earth had a song used in the tv show Outlander. Their version of Dylan's "A Hard Rains Gonna Fall" was used in the episode titled Of Lost Things.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing, I've always wondered where the name Tank came from...
ОтветитьWhen i was in high school EVERYONE called me by my last name. One day i was gonna hang with some classmates and when i gave them my number one asked me what my name was cause he had never heard it and wasnt gonna calm the house and ask for me by my last name . (It could mean literally anyone in our house)
ОтветитьI would've guessed your first name was Frank. Frank the Tank.
ОтветитьWalk off the earth sounds like the BEST TOUR EVER!!
ОтветитьYour stories are great!! I love behind the scenes and on the road material when it comes to Live concerts. Just Awesome.
Ответить7.49 - Straight outta Letterkenny
Ответитьthe music industry:( how to feed off the band.
it would be interesting to divide those profits by band members/ manager.... as per person
Prime Time Tank (Panzer), my imagine can unimagine this. For sure, it was a great time and tour experience for you.
Thank you for the fantastic story.
Tank, If you know could you tell me why big bands like Nightwish can release a cover and not give credit to the original version? Google is sending me on a wild goosechase.
ОтветитьIt wouldn't have happened to be The Social in downtown Orlando would it?
ОтветитьThis is like cosplay for the music biz. Dude is a total poser. Most tour managers are way to busy for this bullshit.
ОтветитьCan we get a video of the day u cut ur beard plz. I know that day must have been emotional
ОтветитьThe restrooms at the Varsity are epic
ОтветитьLoving the Varsity shout out. Great venue. 🤘
ОтветитьOk ... The pro wrestling fan in me has question about AJ style's name now
ОтветитьThe first Tank i ever met was one of the main roadies for the misfits during the michale graves era and manager on some of the jerry only band version lol
ОтветитьBro, when you said you introduced yourself to the guy for the second time saying "Hi I'm Ian," I was like why is he using a fake name instead of Tank? Then it clicked🤣
ОтветитьThat's good to know!!
ОтветитьWe nickname ourselves PV because no one ever knows how to pronounce our name correctly
ОтветитьI'm so glad I stumbled across this channel. So many memories have popped up out of absolutely nowhere… It's been fun reminiscing the, "fuzzy days"… Thanks!
ОтветитьI still call 2 friends by their tour names!
ОтветитьI have been wondering what your real name was. Turns out I knew all along.
ОтветитьI worked with a guy who had a heart attack at work. When he came back, we called him, “clutch”.
ОтветитьI’ve always said, “everyone needs a nickname they hate”.
ОтветитьI worked with a guy we called, “shrimp sauce”. I have no idea what his real name is supposed to be.
ОтветитьJust found your channel recently. You tell a good story. Subbed
ОтветитьLove that Tank is so cliché US citizen sometimes, being on a tour with a bunch of Canadians and claiming he was the only American there :D
ОтветитьLove the story
