I would recommend Chase the lion by Mark Batterson, a great and inspirational read. I am keen to try The Jewishness of Jesus, its not the kind of book I would ever ever read. Last time i went to shul and had any thing to do with the jewish culture was almost 20 years ago. Maybe its time to "deal with it" like you said. And get over me.

I recommend Me, Myself and Lies A Thought Closet Make Over by Jennifer Rothschild. This book will help you recognize that your thoughts have weight and what you think about yourself matters. Whether you have positive or negative thoughts they have a effect on your life spiritually, emotionally. You can with God's help clean out your closet of negative, destructive thoughts. This book changed my life for good!

Social media is not a Bible study. What it is for me … keeping my mind on the right things through out the day, may inspire a scripture for me to take to my personal Bible study, learning different views, etc. Cautiously picked to help with intended purpose. Life is short no time for games. Now I didn't say no time for fun. Enjoy what you do; especially our walk with Jesus. @daveassie your post is one of my favorite. Joshua Feuerstein, Priscilla Shirer is another. My list is not long because I like to keep it real and simple so I may focus on intended meaning...not just a scroll. Always appreciate prayers as I pray for those in the "Spot Light" that they will follow Jesus that their post will not be just a post but be anointed.

Thank you for the insight on these books. I have a discipleship ministry and we are putting together a 20 book apologetics reading plan that starts 050 and covers all 101 level subject matter up to 200-300 level. I'd appreciate any and all advice you can give me. Thanks again.
