What I try to remember daily is that I need to stop and look at the flowers the trees to really pay attention because I everything around us shows God's love for us 💝 He took the time to make every inch of this world for our benefit. He even said you plant it you water it but he makes it grow , this shows us that we've been blessed to be able to work with God..

Interesting how you said about enjoying the kids when older..my Grandie is 13 and she recently changed ballet schools..long story ..but anyhow i was SO disappointed she was droping ballet & only doing jazz, tap ; contemporary dance ( her mum & i did lots of ballet) & she said..Yiayia(Grandma)...i dont have to be a clone of my Mum !! That stopped me in my tracks. She's right..she should do what SHE enjoys. Yes she's a stunning dancer but can now choose her own interests. Even though she started at 4yrs of age she gets to be independent now..well ..a bit. She wasn't allowed to drop another class and replace it with time in her bedroom on her new phone!!! A problem we never had as parents in the 70's & 80's !!( we worried about drugs..this next generation it's " social media". Wonder what it will be for you both when your kids hit 10 yrs old & teenage years??)

PS.. my daughter & i are both High school Teachers..so we've seen it all !! My Mum was also a Teacher..3 generations
