In the southwestern U.S., 7 states are already fighting for the ever dwindling water of the Colorado River, yet in Arizona, where I live, is rubber stamping the construction of both data storage centers and chip manufacturing in Phoenix, not to mention that Maricopa County has already allowed the Saudi government to purchase a vast amount of land and water rights—to grow alfalfa (one of the worst water intensive crops) to ship back to Saudi Arabia to feed cows for slaughter for the growing Saudi appetite for meat! It’s all insane!
