Is anyone else never able to match prices in these videos? I go for heavily played and damaged card conditions and my deck price is usually a bit higher, and then shipping comes in and will sometimes double the cost. What am I potentially messing up?

Zombie tribal is my favorite deck. Grimgrin is probably my favorite commander he's a walking sac outlet and removal card and aggressive as hell

Why didn't you mention corpse harvester? Tutoring for a zombie AND a swamp every turn seems good

Necromancer's Covenant kills someone else's reanimator strategy and gives you a bunch of zombies, then gives all your zombies lifelink. If you keep blink effects around from the Aminatou deck, it's repeatable graveyard hate.

I would’ve called the exile tactic: Beyond death. Because yknow, you’re sending them to exile, beyond the graveyard.

Hey Mitch, I am a new commander player and new subscriber and I wanna thank you. I was always tempted by commander but the players at my LGS all have very expensive decks and when I played with them with a precon deck i got destroyed. That was before I found your channel. I cant invest too much in the hobby right now and even if I can invest like 500$ I dont want it to be in 1 Deck. I built your upgraded Vito deck last week ( came to about 100$ on the canadian market) and Im super competitive but more impotantly Im having fun playing. Im planning on building many more decks with ur help. SO thx again. keep doing this pls.

How about library of leng on the deck i have a varina deck and library of leng helps a lot with card selection and better yet it still triggers the diacards effects

I am running Varina as my zombie/mill commander right now but I and not sure she is the best one for the job any suggestions?

I run a Varina Deck, she's the first commander deck I ever built and I've slowly upgraded her over the years. Needless to say she's a powerhouse now and can easily flood the board with Zombies, Zombie Gods and Boardwipes galore. She's so damn fun to play.

So happy with the new style. Not reading every card aloud is so much more friendly, and really shows a greater understanding of your audience. It really was quite painful before :) Keep up the good work!

I do still have to watch your videos at at least 1.25x speed, because I'm not sure if someone told you to speak slowly when reading aloud or if it's just you; but as an Australian it make me think I am having a stroke.

Tactic 8 could have been called "Dead and Gone" since it features exile effects (gone) and it's in a zombie deck (dead). Or "Cremation" since exile effects get rid of something and prevent graveyard shenanigans (come to think of it, necromancers would be in deep trouble if cremation were popular)

EDIT: or "Dead Doornails" since these cards are aimed at artifacts and enchantments.

Add Phyrexian Altar, and Gravecrawler, paired with the Open the Graves, which is already in the deck, for any infinite zombie combo.

Mitch... Wayfarer's Bauble is a good card everyone knows that. But Sol Ring is cheaper than it by this point, to be fair Wayfarer's gets a land which is hard to remove while Sol Ring can easily be removed. It's Sol Ring, and it's cheaper than Wayfarer's Bauble. Never thought I would be saying that, wish I bought more than 1 bauble whenever it was you started making videos.

I built a M15-frame -only version of this. It threatens the entire table every time I bring it out.

I have had a varina deck for a couple years now and she's actually my most expensive deck. Losing to this list is gonna feel really bad.

Cryptbreaker and Gravespawn Sovereign, both are sub 5$ but in zombie tribal being able to tap 3 untapped zombies to draw a card or Tap 5 untapped zombies to take a creature from any graveyard and put it on the battlefield is pretty strong. Unfortunately Gravespawn Sovereign is a high cmc creature at 4bb but still a bomb though as it's ability is not T: so can use the turn it's brought into play.

I have this type of deck and run a Profane Processions in it which works very well. It combos with all your zombie token generators and Smothering Tithe.

maybe bones to dust or something like that instead of buried? since you're turning them into nothing via exile?

Bag of holding works wonders here when there’s graveyard hate and also you can’t go wrong with bolas citadel

I was wondering if it is worth putting in board wipes like Liliana, Death's Majesty or Austere Command? I know archfiend of Ifnir is brutal but is it worth dropping in more?

Lazotel Plating is underrated.
Aside the amass factor, I absolutely love having a pseudo Heroic Intervention that protects me in blue.

Looks like a nice, straight forward zombie deck built for synergy and fun. My ONLY feedback for this deck, I suspect it does too much looting and not enough draw. I realize that could be a budget issue too.

The Scarab God is my favourite. I've just assembled it and can't wait to overwhelm my opponents with neverending hordes. Also draining is a fun way to win without attacking

If you play any mass aggro or mass reanimation zombie, Varina is the best Zombietribal Commander for that.b

Would be woth it adding the new Tormod and something like Library of Leng or something to recicle the graveyard?

I've built her and she is by far my favorite deck to play and it is almost the same as this list some minor differences but ifnir does put in work and anything he doesn't kill most of the time gets tapped from the zombies entering I did put the exquisite blood and sanguine bond combo in but just one of them can win the game with a swing with 10 or 15 zombies gain that life deal the damage I love it

Love Zombies, literally my oldest tribe, but I prefer Gisa and Geralf for the commander

Awesome decklist! With the recent Modern Horizons 2 and Strixhaven sets, are there any additions that would help the deck out?

I do have a Scarab God zombie tribal, that, unfortunately due to the nature of that commander, draws more hate than my deck at that budget can manage. I think I'll switch the commander to this one, keep scarab as a win con perhaps. The core of the deck seems already pretty much the same.

Bone Mizer is a solid pick for this type of deck

Roofrop Storm, Noxious Ghoul, Grave Crawler, and a sac outlet like Carrion feeder, Or Nantuko Husk can whipe out a board. also if you us Butcher of Malakir, Erebos edict or Grave pact can also whipe out boards. If one include green you use the same combo pump up Carrion Feeder or Nantuko Husk and with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord kill every one.
