Is it allowed to use reverse in flight ? I seem to remember some Porters diving at 90° nose down without accelerating

So how do you apply the beta mode? Just idle the engine or do you take the throttle at the start of reverse?

I was flown about 70 miles in a pilatus but I was unconscious so I don’t know how long it took. How many miles was this fligh?

Do they really need to constantly keep their right hand on the throttle ? In my opinion, it is easier to control the stick with the right hand, and pick your nose with the left. After all, on Pilatus, there is not an Airbus joystick, but a real hardcore stick. Or they only take left-handers as Pilatus pilots :)
