Great info! I'd like to know more about how the fund asset allocations were arrived at, particularly in the case(s) for portfolios 4-8. I'm assuming it is based on a return/volatility ranking of the individual asset classes over a long time period; each subsequently higher numbered portfolio having both higher volatility and return. Also how does (or should) this mix change as one enters retirement? Thanks for all of the great info.
