Are there any high-proof whiskys that use 100% rye?

Is the mash bill where the ethanol comes from, and if so, how does the mash bill contribute to the flavor of the bourbon? Because ethanol is just ethanol. Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm just really getting into bourbon now
