There was a guy on the UK Strictly who scored 8 for his dance (1, 1, 3, 3) which was way worse than this.

No matter how bad someone does...the effort put into it should atleast give contestant a 5. 1 is for someone who just stands and doesn't move.

This isn't Dancing With the Stars. This is from a different show. You can tell because the judges are not the ones in Dancing With the Stars, and they have been in the show since it started. The lowest score on Dancing With the Stars is actually 8/30. For Master P. Paso Doble.

No way was that a 1. A 1 would be just stepping out and just standing there. This should have a been a 5.

I’m assuming they just wanted to give him the lowest score possible so that he would go home? Because I’ve seen far worse than this in the UK that scored more.

What people are failing to realise is that when this aired in Australia way back when, there were heaps of talented dancers that were eliminated before him. As a person watching from home, it was frustrating to see this. I thought that it was a breath of fresh air the judges ripping into him and a relief when he was finally eliminated.

In the American version the worst dancers have gotten 3 or 4s. This is crazy

They wasted a few 8 counts doing nothing. Props are usually an indicator the dance is going to suck.

It’s one thing to give constructive criticism but that was just straight up bullying
