I got mine for $20, and for two decks that's not a bad deal in my eyes.

I bought it because I wasn’t sure if I was even gonna get anything from ff set due to price but it’s decent for the price I do think some cards are gonna have a decent fluctuation in price like overkill since it works as a one hit kill option with jaws of defeat but I do think they could be useful in some of the commander decks as upgrades which also helps

Starter decks are great especially these being fully legal

I really just bought it to collect the cloud and sephiroth cards, the rest is just a nice bonus as a fan of final fantasy and at a cheaper price than the insanity of most of this set

I got into the game earlier this year by getting the LOTR starter set, picked this up also for £16 though don’t plan to really use it! Can maybe pinch a card or 2 for a future commander deck.

Me and my buddy bought this, we are gonna play a best of 5 and then use it for our commander decks.

I guess the ultimate weapon one is a lot about the flavor of the 7 cost equip which I appreciate in these power creep times.

Ultima Weapon may be expensive as hell to play and equip... but is so freaking flavorful that I don't really care. My brother got me the Limit Break Precon and I got this so we can build two FF VII commander decks with Sephiroth and Cloud and my endgoal is to get Cloud equipped with as many "Sword of..." as my wallet allows me and his two most iconic swords, the Buster Sword and Ultima Weapon.

I bought one just to have them. My girlfriend and I are pretty new to magic, and she kinda gets discouraged at how long commander takes sometimes. This will be a good base for some quick standard(?) games.

I get the starter decks if I think they are cool for quick games. I get rid of the bad commons and put better cards in it

The Starter Kit costs 16,99€ in Germany. Looks like a good price.

I consider myself NEW even though I've played (pretty much once a week) since December 2022. I always consider that there is something in these Starter kits for me, and always get them. I guess its nice there are exclusives (as a surprise) but that wrecks the idea of keeping those two decks in one piece (respectively). Can always get in expensive equipment onto the board (or equipped) for significantly less.
