Good Comparison.
ОтветитьNumber of shell sizes are very important for fit .
ОтветитьI could truly afford any of the helmets but really I'm happy my bell adventure helmet. Throw in some ear plugs and a couple different visors I'm set. Plus I wear eyeglasses and I don't see much use of the drop down internal visor.
ОтветитьI have krios pro and the one thing I really don’t like is the limited shell size, the large feels absolutely huge compared to my other helmets, barely fits in my top box on my BMW
ОтветитьThe Airoh Commander 2 is one of the best helmets I have ever put on my head. Only 400 miles with it so far, but I absolutely love it and I’m blown away with the comfort and how quiet the helmet is🤘🏻
ОтветитьAny plan on doing a video on the Klim X1 Alpha? I’m completely torn between the Airoh Commander 2 and the X1 Alpha.
ОтветитьI have the Klim Krios pro
The photo chromatic visor is a game changer
I want a more silent helmet, but not at the cost of that visor
I have the Nexx and the compatible Sena and i can ride all day without any discomfort. Awesome helmet.
ОтветитьQuestion: can you show or speak to each helmets ease in swapping visors? I’m in market for a new lid because current one is a PITA to change visor from clear to tint. I do not like the flip down as much because I wear glasses.
Other thing is visor. I usually wear on my adv but like to pop it off if riding ol triumph around the visor is a bit much and wind… but no one ever shows in multiple configurations (no visor and tinted lens)
You put a ton of detail in and subscribed.. thx for great content!!
I am a big fan of modular adventure helmets.. None of the helmets you reviewed were flip up. Any reason why?
ОтветитьLove the way you review those helmets, as a new adv bike enthusiast, it is very helpful
ОтветитьIs the leatt 8.5 worth the upgrade to the 9.5?
ОтветитьWhy do you have to have a peak unless you are constantly riding into sunset across a desert?
Ответитьहिंदी मे बोल.
ОтветитьScorpion ADF-9000 for 300 euro is very difficult to beat in terms of quality/value.
Leatt ADV 9.5 is an incredible helmet but I wouldn't give it a 9 for value since it's almost 800 euro.
Great review. Must admit I do like an Arai. I’ve toured Europe in my X4 for 5 years and been on and off road. It’s just super comfy and has a great wide field of view and a high safety spec. You might have convinced me to try another brand but would be hard moving away as it’s a known quantity.
I was looking at the Klim but have heard that they can leak and cause fatigue on long tours due to noise.
Why wasn't the ability of the helmets for being able for those who wear glasses?
ОтветитьI know I'm not on subject. But I'm looking for a new Helmet. Riding a Royal Enfield Himilayan 450 with WRS screen. Love the look of adventure helmets, but want better low wind noise on the road. Currently have a Bell adventure mx 9 helmet and going deaf. Do you wear ear plugs? I want to listen to music on a Sena head set, so not keen on plugs. Anyway, love your stuff. Happy to spend $$$
ОтветитьThis was one of if not THE best video I have watched in a very long time. Thank you for taking the time to putting together such a comprehensive review together. I ride a BMW R Nine T Scrambler and currently wear a Shoe GT Air 3 but would love a more Adventure style helmet for 2025. Mainly A roads with some interesting 'Lake District Tracks' Thrown in for good measure. So once again thank you. My search has been given a whole new focus on brands I've not come across previously. All the best, Raymondo.
ОтветитьWhat about the Nishua Enduro Carbon? Has anyone an honest opinion about it? Thinking of buying one.
ОтветитьWe need a best of jacket and pants video!!!
ОтветитьSafety not a key factor?
ОтветитьGreat review
Just bought the commander 2 .so so comfortable .. and the green is pure class.
I have the arai tour x3 and its a great helmet, but I didn't know that the neck roll wasnt removable for cleaning and washing. For the next video, I would suggest adding intercom installation/ease of use, and ease of clean and mantainance. Also they changed the shape on the tour x5 because the visor wasn't rounded enough for the pinlock, another thing i didn't know about the tour cross 3/4.
ОтветитьIf only airoh had more airoh logos, otherwise its perfect
ОтветитьLeatt looks really good with that accessories comes with it. 0 sideview issues at all.
Ответитьexcellent review! thank you!!
ОтветитьI’m sure the comment has been made, but, no Shoei Hornet?
ОтветитьThe best one is still the Arai X4 😜
ОтветитьGood review, good to know information. New helmets to consider that got my attention. The gentleman forgot to mention that every single Arai helmet is handmade from start to finish, and still is the safest helmet as well according to newer tests even to this day. (The downside of the weight). Second safest SHOEI. (Also Japanese). No one remembers who came 3:rd. P. O. V. I wish that the gentleman could speak a bit more clearer with he's British accent, he was speaking like he's was personally talking to a person, instead of a crowd. A little too much "mumbeling". Otherwise overall a good review. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьSuper! Need a lid time in the next few weeks (USA). Supply is limited. CMD2 or Leatt (in their Hi-) for fit comfort long days, noise, lens function??? Cheers
ОтветитьMight throw in the Nexx X Wed in there too
ОтветитьI think we need an Airoh vs Leatt face off video!!!
ОтветитьVery interesting video but no mention of which are ACU Gold standard. Any particular reason?
ОтветитьLove my MX9 but my god is it noisy as hell at speed. Even with ear plugs it's bordering on unbearable.
ОтветитьMaybe it’s just me but one aspect i never see addressed is the comfort at highway speeds…. Can you use it with the peak on, at what speeds
ОтветитьGreat reviews, really useful thank you. However after using the carbon nexx for two years I wouldn’t score it anywhere near as high. Failing cheek clips on the internals being the main fault. Awful helmet and very little aftercare.
ОтветитьKLIM is plastic garbage... Even their helmet fill is plastic straw garbage... They only care about their profit margin and quarterly earnings, don't let their lies and marketing babble fool you...
ОтветитьNo shoei on your comparatif ?😂😂😂
ОтветитьCommercial 🎊 vidéo😂
Very good 👏👏
Waiting to you to. Ride in Africa and make lot miles on offroad 😂
I’m a big fan of the mips system while road cycling traveling around 17-20mph I wrecked. It threw me side ways and slammed the back of my head hard enough to crack the helmet. I did have a light concussion, but I feel the mips system mitigated the severity.
ОтветитьExcellent review! I would like to see the safety ratings for the helmets.
ОтветитьJust get the Arai if it fits well. Its a legendary helmet producer. The quality will remain long after the price is forgotten.
ОтветитьWhere are each made?
ОтветитьWondering where the Nolan N70 X2 fits in here...
ОтветитьAnd why not HJC RPHA 60???? For me the best Adventure Helmet right now.
ОтветитьNot one of these helmets has a peak that actually blocks the sun which renders the peak in most adv helmets useless. After looking at dozens of different adv helmets the only one I could find with a functional peak is the CKX Atlas made in 🇨🇦👍
ОтветитьHi could explain why you have the pek on the Helmet.
I us a Shark Skwal i3 as I do a lot of night Riding. I use that Helmet for Safety.
So i have the Arai Xd4 and while I love the look and comfort of the helmet it's quite possibly one of the loudest helmets I've ever used. If im going over 50 w ear plugs I can't even hear people on coms. People talk about it being a quiet helmet but I just don't see that. I'm assuming the new version is just as loud. Currently on the hunt for the quietest helmet I can find.
