Thank you. Had the very same problem in came across your video. Ordered the part and then watched your video step-by-step and had no issues with replacing in putting back together the unit. Very well done instructional video!
ОтветитьRepair guy never turned up so bought the change over hose on Amazon where I also bought a T screwdriver, including T8 and T10 bits, and 1 1/2 hours later, after many pauses and restarts of your video, we had ourselves a working Dyson UP13. So, thank you muchly for your video…and, incidentally, I’m 76 like one of your other respondents…only, I’m a granddad while she’s a grandma!
ОтветитьThanks now i can use my old dyson for something useful finally. Worthless vacuum is worthless.
ОтветитьWow that bird in the background super annoying 😂
ОтветитьThanks for the video! Big help
ОтветитьThis video really helped me out with replacing the internal hose myself. Thank you for pointing out what tools would be needed. That information was very valuable aside from buying the part and tools it was worth the effort I watched your video a couple of times and while watching I took it apart and put it back together it took me about half hour I took my time and followed your instructions carefully now my vacuum is working again Thank you!!
ОтветитьYou didn’t address those small clear hoses in the bottom that break and are EXTREMELY hard to replace
ОтветитьThank you very knowledgeable , Excellent had to replace inner hose assy and this video really helped .
ОтветитьThank goodness for your video! I swear you're the only one to actually show how the gear aligns. You saved my sanity. For real!
ОтветитьThank you very much for posting this video. It completely helped me every step of the process. I only needed to replace the yoke on my DC41, but this video was still a perfect help! You both show and describe what you did. Thank you for taking the time to record and post this.
ОтветитьFantastic video, very close to my DC50 had a little problem with timing cog. This is the only video I have found with reference to it. Great statement (leave it loose).
Big shot out, Thank You!
Oh my goodness thanks so SO much! Your clear, concise instructions and clear filming allowed me to do this by myself and save a $60 - $65 repair bill. My old Dyson is better than new. I flipped through a lot of videos what were not going to be helpful for me and I was about to give up when I found yours. Many thanks, many thanks.
ОтветитьThanks! Easy to follow.
ОтветитьAwesome video. Got my Dyson all fixed up!
Ответитьgah I think I lost my two washers are they more or less standard off the shelf?
ОтветитьEXCELLENT JOB! THANK YOU
ОтветитьHelp Please - when I put the two screws on the left side by the white three screw assembly, it prevents the unit from being able to stand upright. What do you think I am doing wrong? Thanks!
ОтветитьReplaced the internal hose. Vacuum is working so much better except now the attachment hose has no suction at all. Usually there is some suction out of the top of the handle hose when vacuuming. There is nothing at all. Seems like there’s a switch or something that I’ve missed. Any tips or tricks?
ОтветитьThis was super helpful. I started on my own and got stuck with the little white gear thing. Then I found your video. Great job with this. Thank you
ОтветитьThe yellow one was the best my house burned and I got the purple I hate it
ОтветитьExcellent video gave me the courage to replace my hose. I usually have a problem but this video makes it look easy,
ОтветитьThanks! Video helped a lot for my hose replacement?
ОтветитьLoved the video. Worked perfectly. I do believe you referred to two screws as T8s and it confused me because they were T10s like the rest. Small potatoes. Awesome video!
ОтветитьThanks so much for this video! I was able to repair a vacuum I got for free and make it work much better.
ОтветитьAppreciate you doing this. My Dyson is now like new again !
ОтветитьBest detailed video. It was extremely helpful and saved me a lot of money. Thanks. I'm subscribed
ОтветитьThank you. Your video is very detailed that it's almost impossible to make a mistake disassembling and assembling. This is the video i have being looking for. Thanks again. I'm already subscribed
Ответитьyou forgot the T8 screw other than that thank you!
ОтветитьNow I want all the Sharks!
ОтветитьThis might have been done a year ago but it is awesome new part is on its way to replace that part and now I'm not stressing whatsoever because you made it so I'll be able to do this and not stress about it and one less little thing for me to stress about turn it down and putting a new part and I appreciate you.... and I appreciate your " Time " and a awesome video......
Thank you so much

I will be attempting to do this on Saturday! Thank you for the tutorial!
ОтветитьThank you🤘
ОтветитьThat was easy to put a new pardon already done it
ОтветитьThank you thank you thank you!! I was a little intimidated by this repair but your video was perfect and I am happy to have my vacuum back for so much less than had I taken it in for repair. Very very grateful to you for sharing your time and knowledge!!
ОтветитьExactly what I needed to see!! Thanks!!
ОтветитьThank you cbatilo, your video really helps. Your video in disassembling the parts was what I needed to fix my vacuum. After removing all the pet fur and hair. The brush was still not spinning, I needed to know how to get to the two pong and was able to tighten them for a tight contact. Work out great!
ОтветитьIt started out as a deep cleaning of my Dyson. But while trying to clean internal hose, the red tab snapped off. Figured I'd have to buy a new vac or pay big bucks for a repair call. And then I found your video! Thanks for the detailed instructions that even this 67 yr old grandma could follow. (And thanks for telling what size star bit you were using - very helpful!) Now it's like I have a brand new vac with great suction. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
ОтветитьMan, that thing is like the dumbest design ever way overly complex. for a vacuum cleaner. why does it need that big stupid ball for anyways?
ОтветитьThank YOU for doing this vid. We live out in the sticks of Ontari-ari-ari-o and the nearest Dyson repair guy is two hours away. I was able to replace the hose in about two hours (albeit rewinding the video umpteen times ;-)! I ended up playing it at half speed which helped a lot. XLNT * * * * *
ОтветитьBrilliant! Thank you
Ответить👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьThanks for such a detailed video. I went ahead and bought the animal ball 3 to replace my 2. But I am gonna fix this and have it as a backup.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьThank you sir. This video was very helpful
ОтветитьThanks for the detailed instructions. I wouldn't have known how to replace the internal hose assembly without this video
ОтветитьThank you for explaining the gear, I didn’t realize there was a line up mark and was stuck!! 😂
