I personally think that Jimmy was far more respectful than most other talk show hosts.

So the waking up of the books actually makes sense to me. When you have a ton of crap it doesn't feel like a moveable thing but this mountain of stuff can feel oppressive.

A piece common wisdom: Some people are simply messy. Put a messy person in a tidy room, and that room will quickly clutter up. Put a tidy person in a messy room, and things will magically become organized. Jimmy's office is a sewer.

It's been comedy up until the part when Jimmy Kimmel decided to not let the interpreter translate anything to accommodate Marie in the conversation by rambling a whole paragraph of nonsense. Marie was just being typically Japanese polite by nodding all the way, but that doesn't mean the host can take his grand ass privilege to disrespect.

if i recall correctly, 10 years ago here in my country, some midnight tv show introduced her as she could propose a new method of cleaning up things in the room. later other tv programs began to introduce her. she appeared to have a co-worker working in a japanese big book publisher. he promoted her to write know-how book first and then managed to translate her book into multi languages. im so surprised that she has become so big.

no wealthy hollywood ppl like Oprah/ Ellen/Jimmy Kimmel will take Marie Kondo method seriously. because they use to have staff do it for them. and they live in big mansion full of space to store whatever junk they bought.
