The 1st Cell is a really great character design and the only true flaw I can see is that his mouth opens. It looks really goofy and I would prefer if it was just kept shut when he talks.

I was always my biggest complaint about Cell. He should’ve became even scarier as he transformed. Imperfect Cell was perfect to me.🥲

The first episode of DBZ I watched when I was like 10 was the episode where Cell meets piccolo for the first time and I was hooked.

Cell was like Buu on his transformations but opposite. He wasn’t as serious when he was in perfect form. He was down right scary and more interesting. Same with Buu. A child at first, then he got really scary during each transformation. IMO

Cell has a plot hole I'm not sure people have talked about but...how does he have frieza's cells if goku killed frieza on his ship in every time line that a future trunks was present?

The buildup to the cell saga was top tier storytelling.

I agree, the cell saga is actually my favorite saga because of cell.

If his saga could have been after the Majin buu saga or DBS he could have been even more dangerous because of what he would have gotten from enemies like buu and other characters possibly beerus. Cell being capable of doing what buu was doing is very scary.

The older you get, the more you realize that Dragon Ball Z is a show about ridiculously overpowered characters who would be godlike if only they didn't have the emotional maturity of a teenager. And Frieza has the emotional maturity of a little kid.

He wasn't a real threat because goku didn't bite him

Yeah Imperfect Cell was the creepiest. His look and voice was terrifying. Imperfect Cell was stronger, but his voice and look was less terrifying.

Perfect Cell was the strongest, but his humanoid appearance and loss of tail made him less terrifying.

I dreamt I was downtown at work and Evil Buu (just regular, pink, super buu with no fusions) was pacing the streets below. I peered out the window (40th floor) and he was quickly walking in the entrance…. the dream ended there.
