I got a possible diagnosis of migraines. I was out with family and my head started pounding, and we all thought I was hungry. I had no appetite and my parents thought I was ridiculous. I couldn’t eat anything and it hurt so bad that when my parents told me they’d take me to the hospital, I practically begged. It was awful. I still am not sure about my triggers, but I will feel the headache all around, but especially on my temples. I’ll get really nauseous when it’s at its worst. I’ve had jaw pains, muscle tension, overly sensitive to light and sound, everything gets really loud, I get extremely irritable, and sometimes I just can’t pull myself out of bed they make me so drowsy.

I feel this so much!! I’m so glad you are speaking about migranes because I feel like they don’t get talked about much! I totally agree with u on when leaving the cinema about getting a migrane , i think the change in light also triggers mines too! I get really bad blurred vision and balance alot and the light really effects that too, I get this almost curtain effect over my eyes like the outer corners of my eye sight becomes black and then the centre of my eyes have lil blurry dots so its pretty impossible to focus on anything & adds to my balance going off! Really bright lights for me is a trigger, it really doesn’t help when we have to sit infront of studio lighting for filming videos 😅 but that super white lighting used to be such a trigger but i feel like the more ive gotten used to the lights it stops the trigger now which is strange! But the only thing that ever really helps my migrane is going in a dark room for a good 2/3 days till its gone😩

Ugh I get them primarily on my right side eye & neck, no light, no sounds, scents also make it worse, nausea, can last days to weeks, also get triggered by a lot of sun exposure. I wish people who don’t suffer from migraines could feel just once what they feel like so they could understand how debilitating they are. I constantly deal with guilt and even more so when I became a mom. I get both the slow starting ones (that I will sometimes convince myself it will go away, btw they never do) and I get migraines that come out of nowhere. I have to just lay down and try to sleep through the pain. Migraines are horrible and I’m sorry to all my fellow migraine sufferers ❤️

I’ve had migraines since I was 8 so I really appreciate awareness for this!! It’s so debilitating and people just don’t realize it isn’t just a “headache”. Thank you so much.

Also I honestly get them all over my head they switch constantly. I get super sensitive to light, sounds, and movement. Thankfully mine is hereditary so my mom understood what it was and took me to the doctor and medicine does help control them but I still get them weekly unfortunately.

Oh Girly I know what you are talking about. I get the cluster migraines which are rough but once diagnosed they were so bad I had to give myself sumitryptan injections most all my adult life. I hate the ones that hang on for days. Now I take sumitryptan pills when needed. Beautiful look as always! I hope you are having a beautiful day and are feeling better. Xox💗😊 much love girly!

I've been dealing with headaches and migraines since I was about 11 years old. I've been on all different types of medications to try to help. Unfortunately I was never able to find anything that truly helped! I had a horrible migraine last night. Almost went up to my local hospital but I wound up just riding it out and eventually it became manageable enough and I went to sleep. Mine are usually up by my temples or the back of my head. They make it so I can't open my eyes I have to go into complete darkness and shut everything and everyone out. I get extremely nauseous, and feel like I can't do anything at all. They are debilitating!!! My mom delt with migraines for a long time. Over 10 years ago now she went into the doctor for a migraine and they did an MRI and found out she had a massive brain tumor. Luckily it wasn't cancerous, the bad part other than the size was that it was on her brain stem. That was one of the scariest moments of my life when she had to go into surgery to get it removed. Thankfully everything went well, they were able to get almost all of it out and she gets regular MRIs to make sure it's not growing back! Migraines are horrible and personally knowing how horrible they are I truly feel for you!! Thanks for sharing this video!!💕

Have you ever tried doing the Keto diet to help your migraines? I have heard that it can help. Ketones are a very effective brain fuel. Some people have a problem metabolizing glucose effectively in the brain. This problem is also being investigated as a leading cause of Alzheimer’s .

My step daughter has migraines. She had them more while she was still in school, but I have a suspicion that it was diet related. She ate all of the crap that the school served, and now that she has graduated and eats differently, her migraines are almost gone. She cut out gluten and most carbs from her diet because she has a gluten sensitivity. I haven’t heard her complain of a migraine since she did that.

1. I start seeing flashes like when a picture with flash has been taken and I know then and there that it is starting.
2. My left side temple starts throbbing and I start making up words to the point that somebody asks me for my address or contact info and in my head I know the info but I’m physically un capable to say the information. It’s like there’s an information gap.

3. I start getting nauseous and throw up. I know that once I throw up I fall asleep for hours in a dark room without noises. It is honestly horrible. Fortunately I know now what triggers my migraines and it is food like chocolate, coffee peanuts a lot of greasy foods like pizza or processed meats. So I am on top of what I eat. If I eat a chocolate I make sure not to East anything related to my migraines until a few days :( LOVE YOUR VIDEOS BTW!!

I get migraines behind my eyes, my right side of my jaw and the left side of my neck. It feels like sun stroke to me and I usually get worse when I try to hydrate so I generally curl in a ball in my bed and try to sleep it off so I don't throw up

I suffered for years with migraines that put me in bed for up to a week. The ER gave me morphine once. It's important to know they're rarely caused by brain tumors but that was my case. Even after brain surgery they continued for years. The cure for me was diet. My biggest trigger is artificial sweeteners. Today so many chemicals are put in our foods. GMO seeds are inserted with pesticides which are the worse. "Natural Flavorings" are chemicals. Try to find your triggers. For me it's reading labels and avoiding processed foods. Fast food is a seldom treat.

I had migraines since I was a little child, my mother had to take me back home from school really often. And at least once a month she had to bring me to the doctor. 99.9% of the times it catches me above the right eye, and it is such painful that I m unable to do anything just lie in bed. For sometimes I used Excedrin too, but at the end of the day every medication was useless for me. Two years ago I finally went to a neurologist. He gave me medications specifically designed for my type of migraine (vasoconstrictors). This has helped me a lot, they actually work and truly act on my migraines. Before this medication I knew that the pain will not leave me for at least 12 hours, whereas now in three hours I'm relieved

My migraines are very forward and feels like the top of my face is "burny", not even sure how to describe. And light is usually fine, but sounds disturb me. It's really sad since music is a big emotional soother for me.

I have gotten migraines since I was eight years old, or close to that age. That's about 32 years of migraines. From my understanding, back then no one really knew about migraines and the doctors didn't know what to do for me. I would have to be picked up from school for not feeling well, too. I don't remember it being too often. For the majority of my life, my migraines were usually the slow building ones with auras that blocked most of my vision, and then the pain would come about five minutes later. One side of my head would hurt, along with pressure behind my eyes, and in my temples. Light, smells, and noise would make me throw up or almost throw up. Sometimes the pain would only last a day, other times a few days. That was without medicine. I can't remember what age I was when I found out I was having migraines. I think a teenager. One of my aunts got them at the time, too, so my mom found out through her. Eventually, I came across Excederin migraine and it kicked my migraines to the curb! I was so happy. I took it as soon as I noticed auras, and that prevented the pain. If I didn't have auras, (just sudden pain/woke up in pain) Excederin migraine would work within twenty minutes. I got migraines the most frequently as a teenager and in my twenties. When I was working out regularly, watching my calorie intake, and taking low estrogen birth control pills (my cycle eventually was non-existent after a year), my migraines were way less frequent and easy to manage. Things got worse after I had my second daughter (my girls are twelve years apart). I had my second daughter when I was 34. I would get this massive pain in my lower back and spine, and my stomach hurt and felt like it was painfully empty, except with some acidic stomach bile. On average it would last three days and I would always throw up, at some point. My head didn't really hurt from it, so I didn't think it was from a migraine. I got my spine and back checked out and everything was fine. I went to a neurologist and he instantly said it sounds like a migraine. I was shocked. I didn't know migraines came in various forms that could be without pain in your head. He prescribed some migraine medicine, but I didn't have luck. They just made my stomach hurt more. Eventually, my migraines changed to my upper spine and shoulders. That pain eventually caused head pain. It was awful. This last year they changed, again, and are more intense than I remember. They are in my head, my whole body feels warm and like it's filled with dust (?), my stomach still will hurt the same, I will throw up at least once, I usually wake up in massive pain, so no warning auras, I can't move or I feel the intense pain, etc. I have to jiggle my foot as a coping mechanism to calm down the pain enough to fall asleep. I typically can't eat, but know I need to to protect my stomach from the medicine I will take. Bananas are the easiest thing for me to eat during a migraine. Food smells make me want to puke, but bananas are fine. Excederin and the prescription medicine doesn't work at all for me, anymore. It makes me so sad. I still keep Excederin around, though. I like Excederin for my other headaches. I always end up full on bawling my eyes out at least once while I have a migraine. It takes a lot to make me cry. I drink a lot of water, but still feel dried out. My migraines still last at least three days.

I know my comment is long, but I'm hoping that it will help someone experiencing the same symptoms/ailments. Migraines are the worst pain. Sometimes going through this so often will trigger my depression, too. It feels like it will never end and I will always have to deal with this pain and miss out on life. I haven't given up on trying to figure out a cure. I cut out deodorant that has aluminum and parabens, and changed my diet to vegan and I am seeing a reduction in my migraines. :)
