It’s not healthy to loose you family for a house. Yes they have been disrespectful, but it’s the only family left, and a house won’t give you the same as people would. So it’s not wise to throw away the living for the memories of the dead. It must be painful, but he should’ve stepped up when they started to make those changes and not kick them out when they’ve made them. The house isn’t even the same as it was, so no point to throw away the relationships for old bricks and wood

I get remodeling certain areas but not the entire home, not removing a door frame that held your child growing marks. The mother completely decided to let her husband ruin a home that was built with memories instead of trauma then tried to guilt trip her own child.
