ОтветитьGot a Yaz rookie for a quarter mid 90s at a flea market, sold for $300
ОтветитьI have a question when setting up a $1 box about how should the cards be worth should they be $1-$4 and $5 be $5-$9 then $10 be $10-$14
or should would a box for each dollar amount $1-$10 be better
99.99% are worthless commons
ОтветитьScummy guy you are
ОтветитьBlud keeps saying HQ like these 5 cent cards are going to bring him 15,000 dollars
ОтветитьGary is awesome🤣🤣🤣!
ОтветитьGood vid
ОтветитьIt’s hard to get a bad deal when you have connections
ОтветитьI get it findings some cheap cards but spending 225 is niot dollar card hunting you could get a good value card
ОтветитьGary with the player stacks is always at the NC shows we go to and he is my kids favorite tables. Great guy!
ОтветитьHow bout teach the kids a valuable lesson….early bird gets the worm. If my son misses out on some steals because he stayed up late or didn’t want to rush over at 7-7:30 am that’s his fault. I’ve never seen so many grown men cry in all my life until I started reading comments like on stuff like this. The guys selling their cards should have told him “no deal. We are waiting for the kids first. Maybe they want those.” 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьWhere do I find this place
ОтветитьAwesome seeing Joe in the video! He owns the card shop I've been going to since I was a kid and I just caught up with him yesterday after about 15 years away from the collecting scene. Great video!
ОтветитьEarlybird gets the worm.. i admire him getting up early and all the effort put in to get theese cards and the hustle behind selling em ❤
ОтветитьThis guy is just spending money with no chance of a profit
ОтветитьBro in the first couple seconds you got @cardcollector2
ОтветитьI'm planning on going to my first ever card show here in a few weeks. Any tips?
ОтветитьMan this was ugly. For $800 no way anywhere close to that value back
ОтветитьGo bengals 😂😂
ОтветитьI like that Gary had trouble remembering his name.
ОтветитьI just don't understand the appeal of buying $1-$5 value cards other than for collecting certain players. It can't be for making profits, right? These type of basic cards don't go up in value.
ОтветитьI liked the Paul Molitor you passed on, just was a huge fan of his
ОтветитьMy dad met you his name is Kip jenkins
ОтветитьCalls the guys wife a sir 🤣🤣
ОтветитьI don’t think I’ve ever seen any dealer that actual knows what they are doing, not using at least penny sleeves on cards. Who the hell just stacks a bunch of worthless cards with no protection on a table and charging ridiculous prices for stacks.
Ответитьyikes. paying 5 bucks for Bo Jackson baseball rookies that are regularly a buck or less in multiple boxes at every show I attend, a base Bowman Jeter that's not even a buck, 2nd year chrome base Manning that's worth a buck. And he geeks on a "Promotional Sample" that most of us know has no value because they were printed as a gimmick. The relic stuff at 5 is ok, top dollar, but, the rest of these picks in a 5 dollar box screams "noob". Granted, a noob with way more $ than me, but noob. especially regarding the junk wax era stuff. Glad he gave the dollar boxes some love, and that era some love, but a little too over the top. At least the stacks table was more in line with card values at 10 and 15 cents.
ОтветитьSuch rookie purchases. Everything I seen you buy wouldn’t ever get $5 on Ebay so I don’t know how you think you’d make money on those? I know you have a lot of money to throw away but it’s still irresponsible to see you make videos claiming that you are finding “good bargains”. Lots of new kids will think that’s true.
ОтветитьI am thinking on a site for virtual cards like fantasy leagues what do you think
ОтветитьWossy, thanks as always!
Ответить“Mac Jones… we’ll skip over that one.” LOL poor Mac. This was a fun video! Lovin the bargain bin scavenging. Can’t wait for your store to open!
ОтветитьYes take all the follr cards before the kids can, beautiful
ОтветитьWhile searching Griffey, he skips out on George Brett and Mike schmidt peaking out at him from stacks, then says he needs Dale Murphy for his store? Some good cards missed!!! Hard to go wrong with Schmidt and Brett. Im still having a hard time following this strategy.
ОтветитьDude genuinely doesn't know cards and it's so blatantly obvious , people stop paying this man for advice 😂
ОтветитьNow I'm depressed on my cards lol
ОтветитьWhat do I do if a friend of mine stole my money and bought these sports cards. And this person name is Brayden Hood I lost like a $122,790.
ОтветитьGeez yiur business is doing this bad you need to take dollar cards from small sellers sheesh
ОтветитьWow ;)! lol
ОтветитьLove your videos keep up the great work ❤👍
ОтветитьSeemed like most of those $5 cards were not worth that. Probably just picked the first table for some content related to $5 and $1 finds.
ОтветитьKeep losing money on these new cards. Cards are going in a wrong direction. Not you down to dollar boxes. What a shame
ОтветитьI only partially agree that all the good stuff is gone early. I set up in Allen, TX with great dollar boxes, but people walk right by, so I end up with good stuff on Saturday or even Sunday!
Ответитьreminds me of card collector 2
ОтветитьThose cards were way overpriced in your $225 deal and then it's somehow $275. Everyone knows Geoff and those two goofs he has as partners for the shop are going to price out all the Deion Sanders for $3-$5 and say that's a good deal, check market movers lol
ОтветитьDidn’t you pay 225 for that first batch of cards ?? You said 275 twice
ОтветитьI can wait to see one what the Card HQ shop will look like 👍🏻
ОтветитьNow telling about hobbies shows strainght forward ones desires 2 achieve always try first.
ОтветитьDon’t know how I feel about guys on your level doing this. Kids can’t always get to the shows right when they open. People who have a limited budget that’s where they thrive and you are already there taking all the affordable good stuff. You’re already a millionaire with one of the best collections, a full team of card employees, an app and opening one of the largest card shops. Maybe leave some for the people actually trying to get into the hobby.
